Not sure if I agree with the way you use immersion. One can be immersed in a book with a defined character. The problem is that many games just don't have great stories in the first place so they have to cover it up with non-choices and other things to distract you from it.
Although it's not like the story is THAT important in a game; the story is an excuse for the game to unfold, not the other way around.
Maybe I'm using the wrong word. I'm talking about immersion in the sense of "being" your character. In a game like Fallout New Vegas or Halo, the player character is more or less a surrogate for the actual gamer. This allows the gamer themselves to artificially "be" in the game, making choices and decisions that they would make. That kind of personal attachment can't happen in a game tailored for narrative integrity like Spec Ops: The Line, because it would be too open to variables. When you're reading a book, you don't see yourself as the main character like you do in video games that allow it, I guess is my point. It seems we're moving away from a surrogate kind of take on game protagonists and more into a narrative one.
Well, with that definition, it really depends on the mood. Like those pick-your-adventure books were nice sometimes, but in general they're better for temporary entertainment than anything serious.

This isn't the Coup Group. Also Chicken Little was an ass.
I'm not saying he should be a Mod, but if people want to bring precedent into play, then that only really swings in his favor. And Chicken was an ass, but he was an ass that hated Verb and fully expected Verb to go ban crazy.

It's because people own phones besides an iPhone or Android, or don't own one at all. Not taking in other factors would skew the results, no matter how small. And when dealing with samples, especially small ones, small mistakes are big mistakes.

I'm just documenting ownership-- even without service, it can be used as a handheld computer. In the event that it was totally defunct, I'd ask you what phone you would replace it with.
Well if it means anything I didn't purposely buy it. It was just given to me for free, which I didn't complain about, of course. If I was to actually purchase a phone it would probs be a Samsung.
Actually, that was a bad answer I gave; of you essentially don't have a phone, then reply with "other". Let me know if you already answered the poll so that I can factor that in later.

Believe it or not, hardware gets cheap REALLY fast.
Yeah, a lot of people don't recognize this. It only took about 3 years for the PS4 to drop from $400 to $300. It's not a big deal, just wait until 2020 if you want to upgrade to the 4.5 for a more affordable price.

Only after medically being unable to use pot did I realize what a waste of money it is. A bottle of jack is only a little more, lasts much longer, and doesn't smell like a skunk.
