Oh most definitely. I don't know if he would have won, but at least the democrat's voting base would still have faith in the party.

Anyone else looking forward to every Quickplay match having at least 6 Sombras at all times?
You didn't hear? QP is getting the 1-hero limit. An arcade mode without the restriction is going to replace it for über-casual shenanigans.

the fact that retards like you let a publicly known scumbag become president because of "lmao look at me" is disgusting

Its amazing how fast your opinion of me changed the moment I revealed my stance in politics. Reminds me of the time this one guy didn't like the fact that I'm atheist and wanted me to die in a car accident and get raped by niggers in LA.

All because I don't believe in god.
That's what godless heathens deserve, plus more. If Satan is your master, then enjoy an eternity with him in Pandemonium.

I don't believe in Satan either. I'm an atheist.
Atheists are merely unwitting servants of the dark lord.

Okay since I guess we're going to go there, I might as well as say this...

I worked for Satan before. He's not as bad as people make him out to be and Hell actually is a pretty neat place. My job was Death. I'd go to both Heaven and Hell depending on the person who's life is over is suppose to go to. In fact, many have actually been sent to Heaven as punishment, because Heaven isn't as blissful as its advertised, Hell is pretty much a theme park, except you don't have to be tall to ride all the rides....

Spoiler
That sounds ridiculous? Well so did your post.
Sounds like the hallucinations of a Satan worshiping cultist.

If you took what I said seriously I feel sorry for you.
If I took anything a Satanist said seriously, then it would reflect poorly on my humble Christian values.

But I'm not a Satanist. I don't worship Satan. I don't even believe in any of that crap. What I said was a complete joke.
I won't be fooled, heathen. Atheism is Satan's way of luring the feeble-minded and evil into the trappings of the cold and clinical world of secularism.

Do you think the voters who voted for Trump as a "joke" are gonna regret their decision?
Only if the 11,000-some people who voted Harambe do.
Wait? Is this a joke? Please tell me that's a joke.

My fucking state voted for a minimum wage increase over 4 years
What's the poverty line for your state? It makes a difference, to some degree.
I don't know, right now the wage is 8.05 and the cost of living here is great. It's going to 12 fucking dollars by 2020
By 2020 is meh. $10 is fine if it has to go up, but unless there's a serious economic floundering between now and then, $12/hr is a bit much.

I don't know about you, but over the course of this nightmare cycle I've participated in public discussion and not a single person I voted for won. Not my fault that I was in the minority, and it's not the fault of those who are too young or feeble to vote either.
I'm in the same boat, but the difference is that you're not nearly as pissed off as you need to be about it.

]You're a person who's never expressed much passion or conviction for anything, and I've called you on this numerous times--but if there was ever a time where you've got to be mad as hell, it's now. But you're not, and you won't be. You'll sit in your room, poison yourself, "take it in stride," and hope things get better.

I'm not saying there's much else you can do, but it's the complacency that pisses me off. Among other things.
High blood pressure (resulting from various stress-related illnesses) runs in my family, so forgive me if I try not to give myself an aneurysm. I do care, truly; but getting mad as hell is only going to hurt myself more in the long run.

And I've literally had one cup tonight. I probably put a little too much in it, yeah, but it's not like I've had a fifth or some shit.

We don't "deserve" anything
Oh, yes we do. If there's one thing that's certain, it's that you get the president you deserve, and you also deserve everything that happens as a result of having elected him. Play with fire; get burned. You get what you deserve.

Quote
I dunno, I'd rather try and take this in stride despite the fact that I'm completely dissatisfied with how the election went, and that's even excluding the presidential choice itself.
Has "taking things in stride" done much good for you lately? If so, great, I'm glad. Personally, I think optimism is for children and Christians.
I don't know about you, but over the course of this nightmare cycle I've participated in public discussion and not a single person I voted for won. Not my fault that I was in the minority, and it's not the fault of those who are too young or feeble to vote either.

And considering that the odd stretches of optimism and an aversion to be a selfish cuntwad are the reasons I haven't killed myself, I'm good with it.

Haha this is gold. Everyone is in shock and I'm just sitting here laughing. CNN's reaction is priceless.

I'm glad to know that you maintain your middle school level of intelligence.

Jeez who pissed in your cornflakes? Its just an election.
"It's just our democratic right to choose representatives who reflect our ideals and policy leanings, who cares if the result is the antithesis of your values?"

This is you rn.

Shit you actually look for excuses to be butthurt. This is just sad.
Nah. Not even mad if you support Trump; if that's who reflects your interests, by all means. Your attitude towards the election, meanwhile, does piss me off. Government's not entertainment, and if you genuinely don't understand why someone could be upset by the results, then refer to Icy's statement.

At this point I'm just hoping the next four years go half as well as his supports think it will.
Do you think we deserve that?
We don't "deserve" anything, we crawl and scratch for what we can get.

Yeah, so, I'm just going to finish my night off with some Jack&Coke and hope that by some miracle Republicans don't get a landslide in Congress.
Enjoy your hangover.
I wish I had enough for a hangover.
Enjoy whatever adverse effects that will inevitably incur either way, whether you notice them or not. Meanwhile, smarter and more responsible people like me will enjoy getting drunk on their own misery instead.
I've always found depressants to help me find solace in misery. To each their own, I guess.

Wow, this is way too close.

Wasn't expecting Georgia to be so close tbh.

Atlanta is a growing powerhouse for Dems. And the Trump campaign has struggled there,  like in Arizona, with minorities.

Bad sign if it stays close
I know that it's supposed to be a blue  state by 2024, but I was still expecting Trump to win by 5-8% in the meantime.
