it was okay, but why does the first one always have to be better
3>1>2 or 1>2>3
sometimes 2>1>3
2>1>3 is way more common in vidya for some reason
or 2>3>1
Yeah, but it's not a vidya otherwise this would be in gaming

No
What about it, though
I didn't like the ending
Second Act makes up for it imo

People are gonna have to start asking themselves how much graphics REALLY matter within the next decade.
I don't think it necessarily has to do with textures or the like; D44M looks phenomenal and it's half the size of this. It's bad optimization, short and simple.

>have to mod it just to finish the game
lol nope
You can finish the game, the mod just adds the unused files that are already on the disc (such as the HK Factory, etc).

sometimes i've considered getting myself addicted to some drug, only to prove how easy it is to quit
Do it then make a day by day thread about it followed by a review

in development
i'm going to cry if it's their VR game
tbh I'd rather have Chromehounds 2, but Sega's a shitter so that won't happen.

Tbh the basic plot of Dark Souls is the best description of the franchise. Demon's Souls was the first flame, and each subsequent game burned shorter and less bright. Not to say they are bad, but it's a good thing the series is "over" (as much as a franchise can be nowadays).
what do you think of my pause solution
I'm not against being able to pause, I just think it would have to be done in a way that keeps the tension. One thing that being unable to pause really helps do is reduce the helpfulness of walkthroughs, since someone can't just alternate pauses between the youtube video and the game. Niche example, I know, but being unable to pause is nice in some aspects. meh
I think if some baby casual wants to do something like that, they should be able to. It only makes it all the more satisfying for those of us who didn't need guides to beat the game without one. I'm here for the casuals.
Just look at options menu right nowโthere's an option to turn off blood. I always thought that was hilarious. The game barely even has any blood, yet there's still an option to turn it off if you're that squeamish.
If the game didn't have that option, and some player was like, "This game should have an option to remove the blood," how do you think the average Dark Souls fan would react to that? And yet, we have the option, and the game hasn't been ruined by people who don't want to see blood.
That's why I'm not against a pause button, it would just have to be implemented in a way that isn't literally "same game in every way, except you can pause whenever". I'd liken it to being the modern equivalent of "save points vs quicksave". There's no problem with quicksave so long as it can't be abused (ie savescumming) or detract from the experience. Same here; there's no problem with being able to pause so long as it doesn't detract from the experience.

the American Revolution is the backdrop of the play, the setting
not the subject
He created the federal bank, irredeemable. Andrew Jackson did the right thing, even if it bounced back eventually.

Your solution is a bit too rough imo (more band-aid than stitches), but could be worked into a reasonable fix in time with effort.

Honestly, I just don't care enough about the American Revolution to try and invest my attention in it.
But it's nice that Alexander Hamilton got some public attention.
Tbh it's only interesting as it relates to the Anglo-French Wars (specifically the Seven Years War and the Anglo-French War of 1783) and the issues of Colonialism.
My historical interest in the west basically drops off with the Norman conquest of England, but ye.
Colonial India is much more interesting than Colonial America, anyways.
