Speaking of Deej, can someone give me a tl;dr on what happened with Frank Woods? Vaguely I remember his name and that he was unjustly banned by Deej but I wasn't active enough at the time to give a shit about the situation.
my boy posted a thread complaining about misplaced threads in #gaming when it was being spammed with Destiny LFG and the mods weren’t lifting a finger to help it. Some absolute gym sock of a mod (I think it was Daz When he was being a sperglord and banning #offtopic threads for fun) thought it would be a good idea to move his thread to #Bungie/Community instead of address the issue at hand and message Deej.
Deej delightedly swooped in on the thread and mocked Frank for posting it in community (which he didn’t even do) and Desticles lost their shit and patted him on the back for banning frank. The thread turned into a huge shitstorm and like 5 users got slapped with a 3 month ban for sticking up for Frank and explaining the situation. I messaged Foman and Recon at the time and they didn’t like what happened, but said the situation was out of their hands.
I knew Deej was a bastard but holy crap that's terrible. Can't say I feel bad when he gets shouted down by people who pick up on his and or the company's bullshit.

 Some of you moved on a long time ago and probably felt a bit angry when B.next was introduced. It's honestly a bit hard for me to come to terms with this nail in the coffin. I started using the forums, mainly offtopic, when I was 16 years old and now I'm almost 20. I never stopped posting and became very attached to the community. I laughed, I joked, and I made others happy. When I was sad, bored, or had just come back from high school I was always excited to jump onto the site. It's difficult seeing almost 4 years of enjoyment finally ending. Throughout that time I interacted with so many people and saw those same faces among others come and go and now that's all gone. Almost everyone I met is either on an offsite or is no longer active. The remaining posters are children with no sense of humor or creativity. It's a place I can no longer look forward going back to as those who made it good have been kicked off. Sad.

why such a specific point in the game
It's about 2 long missions in and prevents people from creating alts as fast as they can now (about 15-20 minutes). They also want proof people have played the game before giving feedback.

It's not about pettiness, it's just that people feel uncomfortable coming to an offsite because it's not the same. I'm sure there are some personal issues between a few people but most don't feel at home on Sep7agon.
