We're alive during such a boring time period. By the time something like space travel or space colonies become a thing, we'll be old at best, dead at worst.

Who the fuck throws the ball in a situation like that?
That was EXACTLY what I was thinking when I watched it happening. They didn't deserve to win if they thought that was a good idea >.>

I don't understand how people break phones so often.
because today's phones are utter shite
I have an iPod 3rd Gen, an iPod Touch 6th Gen, and a Moto X. I haven't had issues with anything but scratching because I'm not careless with my devices.
There's also treating your stuff well >.> But... I don't know, today's phones just feel more delicate than they should.

I'll always remember the Five-seveN as being the best handgun in Splinter Cell: Conviction.

okay i felt this one deserved it's own post because it's pretty out there and I'm not sure if it's even possible but I think it would be awesome if members could have galleries on their profiles of a few images. Those images being stuff you have drawn (for the artistic people of the forum) or just some images you like. I think it would be really great for the abundant artsy people on this forum. I'm just not sure if our host has the abilities for that to be possible.
I like this suggestion. One feature of a forum I used to frequent was picture galleries. It was mostly memes, but it was humorous. It also had a comment section for the lulz. One way the thing stayed relevant was that the front page had a 'recently uploaded images' bar along the bottom. This was before the days of imgur, so it was also nice to have image hosting without being bombarded with advertisements or signing up for Photobucket. And of course, it was helpful to keep all our avatars in one place on-site.

Good for them.
Fortunately for us, it has absolutely fuck-all to do with the state of gun control in Europe. When I start posting about the U.S.'s links to Hamas via a Breitbart source, then you can criticise me.
Breitbart is Kinder-tier, Meta. Even if they're right, it's for the wrong reasons and it's probably part of a loony agenda of some sort. Don't worry, though, I'll get over this... eventually. Something a bit like this^
Notice how everyone walks away from that alive <_< Instead of just screaming YEEHAW and riddling the guy with bullets.
That's exactly the kind of thing I'm afraid of happening >.>

I have to say I'm a bit disappointed.
Okay? I don't care.
I wouldn't have linked it if the information were false; I knew it was, however, true. You should be disappointed if I start linking obviously fabricated stories about Obama's birth records or trying to establish a socialist state--not when I link legitimate pieces from otherwise unlikable sources.
As far as I'm concerned, Breitbart.com still believes Friends of Hamas exists. And the article quoted the probably-mentally-ill Donald Trump too! I'm not even joking, Breitbart.com considers this sort of clickbait newsworthy. They're only a little bit worse than Huffington Post. Oh Meta, I don't know how I'll ever get over this~ Spoiler Now, I'm a decently pro-gun control advocate. I don't mind gun ownership in and of itself. I've heard that police in Europe don't carry guns which, quite frankly, does sound a bit... well, I don't really know how an officer of the law is supposed to carry out their duty without a gun.

while you're going to go to imaginary land. That clearly isn't the case. If Breitbart isn't reliable, then fine, but this particular story is quite clearly not incorrect. If you want to advance some sort of assertions against the information and not the source--seeing as Time also corroborates the story--then I'm open to that.
Not mindless Breitbart-bashing, though.
Breitbart is mindless liberal bashing, though -__- I don't know, it's more the shock that you linked Breitbart of all sources. I have to say I'm a bit disappointed.

Breitbart.com Europeans need those guns to protect themselves from fictional terrorist organizations.
Previous issues with a source don't automatically discount the content within; here's TIME magazine saying essentially the same thing.
Breitbart shows perpetual negligence in admitting mistakes. Might as well take the Onion as fact while you're going to go to imaginary land.

Still feel the same. Any logic used to ban 20% of shitposts can be used to ban 50% or 70% or 100%. There are no good or bad shitposts. There's just shitposting. The Flood should not be about discussion value it should be about fun.
But you can have fun with discussion value. Sports, movies, cars, etc. Not everything has to be "lol niggers" this and "fuck faggots" that
Yes lets talk about our favorite movies for the 12th time. Fun. There's a reason this place dies when anarchy is up.
Shitposting is exactly why I never post any threads of value in the Flood, because I know it'll just turn into a pile of shit if I try to discuss anything.
If your threads are not generating good discussion its because your threads are boring. I wouldn't know anymore, because I gave up on it. I keep anything discussion-worthy in Serious.
I... actually feel the same way. Maybe Flood does need some more moderation...

Science isn't around to make you feel satisfied with what you believe, in fact it you usually does the exact opposite. There's essentially no evolutionary reasoning as to why evolution would produce genes that make homosexuals and people born in the wrong body. That's pseudo science and it's only used by people without a proper resolve.
Why aren't you permabanned from Serious?

I love how none of you can fucking read. The news wasn't Hoth you idiots, it was that they have multiple Hoth maps rather than the traditional one Hoth map of old
I think you might be reading too much into it. This is Gamespot, after all. Although I'd be pleasantly surprised if there were multiple Hoth maps.

How do we know the mods didn't just restart the poll to achieve the outcome they wanted?
Then it shouldn't be that difficult to vote again for what you wanted.
There could very well be a different turnout for this poll.
Then it would most likely be attributed to misunderstanding of the first-poll's options
It could be any number of reasons. Unless you actually ask them, we don't know that.

I was just told to rewrite it - if you have concerns, take it up with Cheat.
Ok, will do. If everyone feels the same as they did before, the results will not change, correct?
There is so much wrong with that reasoning, I don't know where to begin.
