Are you guys talking about Peace Walker? I wouldn't mind playing co-op or something. My game order is already FUBAR anyway since I started playing Ground Zeroes the other day. (It was FUBAR anyway because I played MGS before MG >.>) but yeah that's a bit of a milestone, i must say It is, actually. This is the 9th most replied-to thread on the site right now.
Neat!

Do we know what exactly transfers from GZ to Phantom Pain?
We know the Ground Zeroes character model transfers over.
And POW's you've rescued as well, but I'm not entirely sure how that works considering it's 9 years later and MB was destroyed, presumably along with those rescued prisoners.
I was lol'ing when it turned out Kojima was the guy I just rescued. I'm hoping he transfers over >.>

Okay guys, I get it, the F4 movie is not MCU.
Something I'm wondering is, how are they making this film, if they don't have the Xmen rights?
Weren't the mutants a huge part of what started the fight?
IIRC in Avengers 2, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch were 'miracles' or something of the like. Marvel had to dance around it.

I had a bad feeling after Avengers 2 that Marvel might be losing their way. This seems to prove it
But then they go and make Guardians of the Galaxy
That was before Avengers 2, but yeah--there's still a lot of gas in the tank, and Guardians has the luxury of being a good distance from the rest of the MCU while still being intertwined with it.
Ant-Man was fucking great, but I have reservations about doctor strange.
Does anyone know if the F4 movie is part of the MCU?
I have to see Ant-Man soon ;_; Nope, Failtastic Four's film rights are owned by Fox--if anything, it could have been part of the X-Men universe, because that's also owned by Fox. But F4 flopped so hard that Marvel just might wrangle the rights back like they did to Sony with Spiderman.

Ant Man was also a great movie
Ah, I haven't seen it yet somehow ;_; I knew it'd at least be decent, Marvel has their summer blockbuster formula down pat. Ugh, you know, what I probably should have said from the start (but didn't find the words for it until just now) is that the story hit a few bumps in Avengers 2--I was particularly disappointed with Tony being so utterly dense. I feel like he'll eventually have some 'character arc' like Batman did in TDKR where he has the same journey from a previous film because the writers are actually out of ideas. Avengers 2 was fun to watch but it had a serious case of fridge logic. That's what I'm most worried about happening again in Civil War, or future MCU films.

Avengers 2 was entertaining to watch but the writing didn't quite hold up this time around. I felt like they rewrote Tony because that's what they needed him to be.

I'll still be playing tonight regardless, but it won't be a 'game night' or anything unless more people decide to show up.

I may or may not get in the habit of PMing attendees before the game night starts. Is that a good idea, or would everyone just be annoyed by that?

aw shit son.
ikr
are you even still interested in this? >.> If all else fails, I could try pushing it back to tonight at 8pm, maybe we'll get a better turnout then.
Yeah, we need more people.
fuck okay UPDATE: I took the nuclear option of PM'ing everyone else on the 'prospective attendees' list. If this doesn't work, then we're SOL. oh and fuck me for forgetting that I should give everyone a few day's notice when i arrange these things

I feel like Japanese devs are starting to sort of culturally fall behind Western devs--and as much as I'm hyped for MGS V, at least part of it feels behind the times:

Alright, today is the Bad Company 2 game day! Post in that thread if you're attending. I will ask a friend if I could borrow one of his 360s. If he lets me, I'll participate in a Reach gamenight.
We could play on those CoD maps I made in Forge if anyone would be interested.
We'll play just about anything, so sure

In what ways would "American Communism" differ from Soviet Communism and Chinese Communism?
In name only.
