15-hour shifts is just batshit insane. What the heck kind of job do you have? Re: Adderall--drugs are bad, mmkay? Spoiler is what I'd like to say but legit, I may actually look into it. I don't know, maybe. Sounds like a bad idea but I feel like I'm out of options...

edit: there we go, I suck at coding there's nothing provably wrong about making someone else feel excessively crappy.
There's nothing provably correct about the assertion that I will fall back to Earth if I jump. . .
Unless you have the right epistemic assumptions. This is why I keep comparing it to epistemology; everything relies on a set of assumptions--or a definition--to get off the ground, the key is finding the best definition.
I don't see why it's somehow not provably correct. Assuming the world is exactly how it is at this moment, and you were to jump with your two legs at this very moment, without any other factors affecting your independent jump, you would land on the ground every single time. But fine, what are the 'right' epistemic assumptions that prove that morality is objective? Because I still don't understand how a 'negative sensation' can be provably, objectively wrong outside of our own philosophical musings. Why can't you just tell me already? >.> I at least like Turkey's rationale regarding a higher power, that makes it simple. I just can't wrap my head around the idea that the natural, nihilistic universe somehow has inherent rights and wrongs that don't need to be defined by a higher power. Unless... I don't know. This is melting my face. If it is as God defines (in the beliefs of a single entity), then it is by definition subjective. You cannot know how God would define something, so it be his subjective position. Objective means independent of any biases.
I think you missed the point--since God is omnipotent, logic can be whatever he wants it to be, because he wouldn't be omnipotent otherwise. His 'opinion' is unbiased fact, because he made the laws of the universe and created existence itself, thus he gets to define the rules of logic, too. But Turkey explained it better than I did.

Do people actually care about this game?
It's something I can't see people playing for more than a week at most.
Nintendo's been scared off from producing spin-offs because of a few bad experiences letting other people handle their properties, causing them to miss some huge opportunities over the years. Part of the hype for this game is that it even exists at all ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I don't know about the rest though, I'm not much of a fighting game person anyway.

I know it's sort of similar to B.shit, but would anyone be interested in tags? That way you can mark a thread as you like and search for specific tags instead of browsing the forum like a normal person.
I would like tags. But while we're on the subject of prefixes, a game night prefix would be nice. >.>

Just want to point out that I haven't read the article in the OP, nor have I read this one:
https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/plum-line/wp/2015/09/15/no-bernie-sanders-is-not-going-to-bankrupt-america-to-the-tune-of-18-trillion/?postshare=4311442369518137
I didn't read the OP, but it this basically confirmed what I thought. It's not in additional expenses, it's just rearranging how we pay for what we already have for the most part.
The WSJ is once again trying to influence the debate with misleading clickbait titles it looks like.
My bad for not clicking the link in the OP for the source (>.> and now I see what you were telling me). As much as I like WSJ (their reporting is some of the best around), their editorial board is insane. They always seem to push the most preposterous, factually-challenged right-wing viewpoints which lack a basis in reality. I particularly can't stand to read one more of their rambling, anti-net neutrality diatribes. While I can't be arsed to pick apart their NN editorials in a wall of text, this sums up pretty well everything I have to say about the kinds of... nonsense their editorials have pushed regarding net neutrality. I was pretty close to my last straw when one of their pieces amounted to 'millennials can't have nice things.' So it doesn't really surprise me that an editorial writer would write something truth-y about Bernie Sanders. More than anything, though, I'm just relieved that, no, he's not really that insane. Everything is right in the world >.> *whew, rant over* but yeah, thanks for posting this, Turkey

Kasich > Carson > Rubio > Jeb >>>>>>> Shit >>>>>>>>>>> All the other candidates >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Trump.
If the final election is between Hillary and Trump, I'm not even going to vote.
what's a third party
Even if I voted for a third party I'd still be throwing my vote away. So it wouldn't make much difference if I voted or not. Third parties never win.
That attitude is part of why the system is still rigged in favor of the big two.
Every election cycle, if you really can't stand either major candidate, vote third party. Every time the Libertarians break their own records at an election, somebody mentions it on the news. It doesn't get a ton of attention, but it is noted. This is important.
If you're not content, express your fucking discontent.
Absolutely agree. I specifically remember Gary Johnson's ~1% dent in the polls last presidential election. Just that he was on the ballot in some states was good enough news. He didn't do so bad for someone who wasn't even allowed on the debate stage (and he's one of many to have sued to get that changed). Looking back, I feel guilty that I didn't vote for him. I didn't understand this at the time, but there's no such thing as a wasted vote. (Also, voter turnout is a lot more important than people realize.) I might as well post some Colonel Sanders while I'm at it, kek. He explained it a lot more eloquently than I could. tl;dr you're only hurting yourself if you don't vote.

Someone was bound to catch up to Trump eventually. TBH I initially had a bad impression of Carson because of a few awful things he's said ( example), but he apologized and sounded pretty honest when doing so. He's also been running a terrific campaign, including not attacking other candidates even though it's expected from non-frontrunners. Slash was right, Carson is charismatic as heck. (Plus, he's not one of the GOP establishment, so that makes me like him even more.) I don't know that I'd vote for him, but he seems like a decent enough guy, and I admire that he's taking the high road.

Spoiler In all seriousness im pretty sure the cause of the lag was the game's fault, you've never had problems with my internet when we played MH3U on WiiU, plus Castle Crashers lagged when I was playing with a friend who lived close by. This one tbh fam
I'm a bit relieved to see that someone else has the same brand tbh The only reason I stuck with my decrepit old keyboard for so long was that I grew to like how it felt. I decided enough was enough, so I went looking around. I tried this one in the store and it was the only keyboard that felt similar, so I knew I had to get it. It's great, no hand cramps or squished-together fingers or anything, pressing the keys is satisfying, and I have a lot more room for a mousepad now. (One thing I noticed was that the store model was made of plastic, whereas the actual keyboard is aluminum, so that was a pleasant surprise.) EDIT: OMG the keycaps. That's perfect.

I feel like there's something anti-intellectual about avoiding or outright censoring opposing viewpoints. "Higher education" shouldn't cater to those who just want to confirm their own preconceived notions.
