Well....

At least the business of ruthlessly killing the poor, depraved and lost is becoming more sexually diverse.

Yay.

Wanna play as Arby again. He is best halo.

I hope to God they make Locke intresting, not a boring guy like the half the Spartan OPS cast. Maybe a psycho or something.

Intresting forerunner weapons, and bosses.

If it's being replaced with Equalist/Equality then I can get behind that <.<
And not just because of Amon either >.>

I really do try to not just zone out whenever I hear that word, but god damn I'm getting sick to death of fethwits under it's banner bitching about first world problems and the patriarchy. I'm generally apathetic on a lot of issues, but when it comes to shit like that, I really don't fucking care to put it mildly.

The way I see it, as long as you treat all humans equally then there isn't a problem. That doesn't mean homogenised equality, that just means don't treat men/women/black people/asians/gays/etc badly because of who they are.

Amon did nothing wrong...

Good intent...

But you really can't quantify whether something is sexist or promoting equailtiy with a goddamn certificate or label. There is a chasm of subjectivity there.

Irish here, what the hell is a "frat"?
short for fraternity (brotherhood.) frats are popular communal organizations for college/university students all over america, and offer many benefits for membership. they are typically exclusive, holding "pledge rush" events at the beginning of school years/semesters and weeding out candidates who dont fit their style (if you try hard enough you'll eventually get into some frat if you're not a complete weirdo.) frats are almost always male-only, though females have similar fraternal organizations called "sororities."

frats are a huge part of american college culture

So, its just a club?

Why are they called Greek societies when it's just a bunch of douches abusing one another?

Serious / Re: Why are fraternities still a thing?

A fraternity is a brotherhood, a lifelong bond between people who have gone through the same initiation progress and who have learned what it means to live and maintain a Greek life. Anyone who doesn't understand this is someone who could never get into a frat, and it's incredibly stupid to judge fraternities based on isolated accidents.
"Greek life"

That is seriously the gayest shit I've ever read, and even gayer when you consider all the man on man buttfucking the Greeks did.

All of a sudden a bunch of whiteboys who get drunk as fuck as their major in school are multicultural.

Actually, the Greeks weren't that fond of buttfucking. Instead, they fucked each others thighs.

IIRC she was about to be sued for a sex offense.
http://www.hrworld.com/features/top-20-sexual-harassment-cases-121307/

Quote
10. Koko the Gorilla: Koko the gorilla resides in comfort at Woodside, Calif.-based The Gorilla Foundation. Koko the gorilla has also been involved in a grotesque sexual-harassment case along with her handlers and their supervisor. Court TV reports that "former gorilla caretakers Nancy Alperin and Kendra Keller asked for more than $1 million in damages in their sexual discrimination and wrongful termination suit," which claims that the two women were forced to expose their breasts to the gorilla in order to indulge her fetish. Alperin and Keller maintained that they were fired when they refused to show their breasts to the gorilla, but they ultimately reached a settlement with the foundation.

Seriously? This guy thinks some guy wearing a shirt his girlfriend made for him is making women afraid to go into science?

Jesus Christ.

Marie Curie carried fucking radium in her pocket while driving through world war one battlefields, I think most  female scientists can handle a pop art shirt.

That bloke has done nothing but been shat on since he landed that probe, by the evening standard and the internet.

wut :O

I wish we were getting 64 player matches like Battlefield, because imagine getting to drive a mammoth or a Lich or something. But 32 is pretty damn good.

Holy shit I didn't know that. Finally, some of the proper BIG team battle. That was lacking in H4.

With all the shit they just added, I don't know if they have enough room on the controller to have equipment.

Can I get my fucking Space Battles now? Been 4 years, 343i.

Best part of reach man. And after people were let down over destiny's lack of space flight, this would be perfect to reel people in.

Alright, so the big topic on H5G at the mo is the ADS (kinda meh) and the Spartan Abilities (kinda eh), but do you guys have any more hopes for the upcoming mulitplayer?

Personally, I would kinda liked a revamped version of the halo 3 equipment. It fits in with the idea of map control, and gives something else for people to fight over other than rockets and tanks. Something like a beefed up bubble shield, auto turret or healing shield.

I also hope they keep the idea of interactive maps, again adding to the map control theme. I really like the idea of blockade doors, EMP generators and deploy-able cover.

PS: Plase bring back the falcon, And its grenade sister. Also, grafix lok l33t.

Those "spartan commentaries" are cringe worthy. 343i needs to remove them. I don't want a dudebro commenting on my play while I play. At least give me the option to turn them off or something.

It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't a generic army guy voice. Maybe a mean old lady, or a cynical AI, something interesting.

I'm okay with this design.
A second human-esque species is fine, considering all of the varied species that already exist. They don't all need to have "alien" designs.
They should though. You can see they have gills, so they should have a lot of aquatic influence on their physiology. Having a human-sequel shape is fine, but it needs to be distorted more. He's even wearing a human shirt fitting his body comfortably.
There's nothing that states that alien species can't have a physic similar to a Human.

Aside from the sheer improbability of it.
>Sci Fi with with God like species
> Improbability

We know barely anything about the Yohnet to make such a claim yet.

I'm talking about the improbability of life evolving on another planet (a moon actually), presumed semi-aquatically going by the gills, would look so much like humans. The covenant are a tad more probably, with each having their own gate and facial structures. The only exception were the forerunners, who are the sort of alien cousins of humans.

uhh....

Thats just a guy in a mask. Granted, nightfall probably doesn't have that big of a budget for really cool aliens, and it looks like we won't be fighting them.

But come on, compared to all the other aliens in the universe, this just seems like a low blow.

The didact looked more alien.
