Why do companies bother releasing things about video games that don't even show the games?

Still, excited to wait six years to buy this after there's a full edition released on sale with all $120 of DLC to have the full roster.

Lockdowns + Slippi were a hyperbolic time chamber for locals warriors.  If you weren't on the grind you missed out.

Conversely, my random secondaries have never been stronger from randoming through unranked.  I swear I've become more consistent with Link than my main Yoshi.

To be quite genuinely frank and honest I'm not buying this until I can get it for like half price at a flea market.

The graphics are worse than BOTW which makes no sense.  It looks like sludge even when people do emulator shit with it.  But I could ignore that and put my brain back in N64 mode to get into it.

But the worst thing I see from the footage is just a boring empty world like some kind of carnival park ride instead of a living environment.  The Pokemon just wander around not even interacting with one another or the environment.  There's really no extra content or random encounters.  Pokemon run on Ocarina of Time AI, just Spawn Pokemon > run wandering script > run proximity detection script > notice player > attack player.  This is literally the way AI were handled almost thirty years back in OoT and the earliest 3D games.

GF is just lazy.  Simple as.  They put in the bare minimum amount of effort.

Imagine if walking around you'd see:
>Pigeot swooping down grabbing Magikarp from rivers
>flocks of bird Pokemon together
>herds of horse Pokemon
>mama Ursaluna with baby Teddiursas
>Slowpoke fishing with their tails
>fire Pokemon combining their flames

Imagine buying a studio whose only good games came out a decade ago and you don't even get the rights to reboot them because the studio doesn't own them anymore.

Arcanine would be better if he didn't get dark colouration.

Actually like the new Qwilfish, Ursaluna, Viet Cong Decidueye, Wyrdeer.  The leaked Mons in the game are nice.  Still the game looks like an N64 title.

The new weapons aren't fun. In particular the Bulldog is an actual Nerf gun and the Ravager may as well be the Cursed Halo Reverse Throwing Pistol.
I really do miss the BOOM-CHIKCHIK shotgun.

Would ya believe me if I told you it's been at least a couple years since I read any books? Sucks in earnest, I just pick something up and then drop it. Don't seem to have the enthusiasm I used to.

I don't really go on new forums anymore. Discord has replaced 90% of that.
Discord truly was the last nail in the coffin to 00's forum culture.

Reddit was the first.

Man it hadn't even occurred to me you could get USB OG Duke controllers.

Now I gotta get one just as a Christmas gift to myself to play Infinite with.

Might be the first Pokemon game I get since Gen V.  It's got all the Pokemon I like in it with some new forms and evolutions.

Weirdly I've heard there's going to be very few trainer battles though, which seems a bit odd given that's sort of the basis of the Pokemons.
