An arcade bar I was a regular at pre-lockdown is closing down soon. It’s the big sad but the owners gifted me their Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 2 cabinet. It’s got a few issues to fix (occasionally freezing on startup or overheating and crashing during use) but I’m actually lost for words at the gesture itself. I imagine even in that condition it wouldn’t be cheap, being a full racing cabinet and all. Gonna fix it up and play the shit out of it. I’ve had so much fun playing it at the bar already.

Kind of a meme pick but could be way worse. I’m just glad it wasn’t another Fire Emblem Character.

my favorite is how, at 1:06:50, he goes for a completely unnecessary 360 spin with the warthog at the very end of the last level

it saves no time, and if he fucks up, he kills the run, but he does it anyway for style, and now it's part of the WR
I think it’s actually optimal but I’m not sure if it’s different in the speedrun community. When I was 13 I replayed CE Campaign nonstop and found I died 7/10 times from the fall timer by driving straight on. That or I’d land upside down and waste time on being ejected and getting back in. Could be just a swag strat but I’m 90% sure it’s safe.

Wait till it turns into Warden Spamulator 2015 other than that yeah the levels are alright.

Kelly IIRC has always been Brittish although its never made too much sense with her and Jorge having different accents while growing up arround the other S2s.
It’s possible they kept their accents from when they were 6, but yeah you’d think they would all have the same accent being raised in the same environment and all.

I could get a 3.0 bottom end (block and crank) for $450 tops or drop $10,000 on an RB26 GT500 bare block. It has a weaker casting, cracks easier in AWD applications and is in no way superior to an RB30 block discounting oil squirters, but it was made by Nismo Omori factory and has ‘RRR’ stamped on the side of the block so you know it’s absolutely worth.

My state’s in pretty stringent lockdown here in Australia. Masks are mandatory statewide when going out and gatherings are strictly prohibited. The state captial (Melbourne) has even stricter lockdown than my area. I’m still allowed to go for drives so long as I stay in the car and don’t get out, and I can still visit my partner.

I hope the cases slow down enough to stop a third wave and ease the restrictions by Summer here in the Southern Hemisphere. Having a hard time with masks and not looking forward to dealing with that in record heat.

Also a friend is selling his 180SX and I’m really considering seeing if he’ll sell me the Shell by itself. Always wanted a 180 but I’ve already learned about the burden of owning 2 project cars.

Spoiler
but 180sx tho

Kinda stuck on what to do next tbh. I really want to put my new turbo on and make more power (260-310Kw atw/350-415 odd hp at the wheels or possibly 500 crank hp ), but I’d like to do the bodywork sooner rather than later. I don’t need much for Turbo to do its job (Injectors, ECU, Flex Sensor, Fuel Pump, Catch Can and Intercooler) should easily see me to my power goal reliably considering the health of the running gear.

I can’t afford both at once; The old body work looks pretty sorry and all I need is Rear Quarter Panels (pretty expensive for OEM GT-R) , Taillight covers, and maybe mounts/Front Reo to complete the body work. So do I make it look pretty (which will allow me to fit HKS suspension as it lowers the car and my wheels poke a fair bit on stock body vs. +50mm or ~2 inch GT-R rear quarters) or make it somewhat fast in a straight line first? Everything will be done eventually.

hey guys vaccinations are bad.

Imagine hypothetically the doctor made a mistake and injected you with spicy hot sauce instead of the intended vaccine.

See? I told you they were bad based on this figment of my imagination

Deci you literally tried to argue a point by inventing a hypothetical situation what are you doing right now

Yeah I did that so I can get Cheat to try and understand why sometimes the police are forced to shoot and kill people, especially if that person is armed with a gun and aimed right at them, because it does happen.

Some even do it because they want to die, ever heard of suicide by cop?
Gonna need you to think about what you just said there, chief.

If you have to invent a scenario to prove a point then the point you’re trying to prove has absolutely zero substantial foundation.

That's so damn cool. I love infotainment systems like that and for it being made in 1999 it has stuff that took other manufacturers took another 10 years to have in their cars.

Also, it's already more advanced than a modern day Masertati infotainment system.
It’s so cool man. Don’t think I’ll make use of the TV feature much since Australian commercial tv is run by rupert murdoch and sucks a bag of dicks. But the live telemetry is sick

It doesn’t have a built in head unit like most 2015+ MFDs do, but I’m considering upgrading my shitter head unit to a double din one and running 2 screens on the dash lol

I’ve had it for a few days and I’m still blown away by how many features this thing has. So far ahead of its time considering it was pioneered in 1999. It’s basically a live telemetry of everything the engine is doing and comes with a programmable Shift light, a G-force meter, lap timer and data logging.
It fits the dash so well tbh

Deci every day a new video emerges on twitter of a black guy getting his grey matter evicted from his skull by a cop who goes on to not be held accountable in any way, shape or form. If your takeaway from this is Rioters are the problem because some murdoch press ‘journalist’ posted a video of an empty shopfront ablaze with no context then I think you really need to re evaluate your line of reasoning because you’re essentially being the same guy that stands up and screams ‘not all men’ the nanosecond sexual abuse is brought up.

Okay but has that guy done anything to get killed buy a cop? Has every guy done anything to get killed by a cop or were they just standing their innocently?

All sides need to be looked into here.
kind of a moot point you’re hiding behind, there. We’re talking about cops using a gun as a first resort against unarmed people not resisting arrest. Even if they were armed or resisting, that really doesn’t justify killing a living being to me.

I already said in the OP that there are multiple factors to all of this. George Floyd's death is one of them.

It’s less about the mentioned and more a movement for Police Accountability. By all reports from organisers, people engaging in actual rioting/looting aren’t even there to protest (twitter is a pretty useful channel for keeping up to date especially if you follow tags like #seattleprotestcomms). Like it or not a lot of stuff in the US is made specifically for Authority figures to have zero accountability for their actions, especially against minorities.

Like you have to understand, George Floyd wasn’t an isolated case. Hell Police shooting black people has been a running gag on south park for the entirety of the show’s runtime and nothing has changed.

If you think George Floyd’s death was the sole catalyst of the protests then I think you might want to do a bit of reading up on just what’s being protested here.

So looks like the person closest to the spinning bar loses out when 2 people grab each other on jump showdown. Just had some guy kill an entire lobby by grabbing them then give me my first win when he grabbed me. Such a homie tbh
