As a kid, I was really interested in them. I dunno why, I just was. My favorite Locomotive is the Victorian Railways C Class, probably because it was the first Model train I owned, and it was pretty sweet. I was also a fan of the J Class Steam Engine, but only ever saw it in Magazines or on a Video. I'd like to operate my own Miniature Railway or something one day. I know you Americans have a relatively large Heritage with Railways, Post ITT if you have some form of interest in Trains.

I mean, it's not like playing a specific genre of game is guaranteed to influence your attitude to others, but 8/10 matches on <insert Multiplayer RTS here> are going to have people flipping out, or straight up abandoning their teammates the moment they're at a slight disadvantage. So, what's the cause of the, erm, "Competitiveness" in such online lobbies, and why is it specifically such a problem in MOBAs? I get that they have a huge prize pool at major tournaments, but surely people should know that they're just not that good, and stick to having fun, even in a lobby they're expected to lose, instead of being such a sweaty tryhard. Take Myth, for example. Bungie's RTS from the 90's. The people I've spoken to who have played it since the development of the game say that sometime in the mid 2000's, the playerbase/users of a major forum of Myth slowly turned into the stereotype of a MOBA community, when it was previously relatively welcoming. Is there any reason behind it, or is it just a co-incidence that most MOBA players are perpetually salty?

Pretty impressive ride, and setting a new record for the fastest TT in Tour history at 55.45 km/h (30-something mph). 'Straya represent.
As presumably none of you will care about this, discuss Tejay Van Garderen's (USA) chances for the overall victory. Personally, I don't see him as being quite at the level of Chris Froome (GBR), Nairo Quintana (COL), Vincenzo Nibali (ITA) and Alberto Contador (ESP). Contador should be fatigued after winning the Giro D'Italia, but is still a dangerous rider. Nibali I haven't seen too much of his form this year, but given his 2014 performance, is definitely a strong contender for the Podium. Quintana is extremely dangerous, but could find Stage 4's Cobblestone sections a bit too tricky to navigate. If Froome is back to the form he was in 2012/2013, he could easily win. The man can put in some pretty good attacks. Given the unpredictability of Cycling, Van Garderen is definitely capable of a Podium Finish, on top of a few stage wins before they enter Paris, barring Illness/Injury.
