I have a guitar lying around that I don't know how to play. Rocksmith with the cable is like $40 on amazon and I have like $75 in amazon gift cards.

Is it worth it?

A band having merchandise. Who would have thought?
I'm talking about the people appraising a T-shirt like it's a work of art

757
Somewhat one of the "Grand Old Men" of Tool T-Shirts, "Grey Man" is one of the few white T's marketed by the band, and Old Glory makes sure that it's always somewhat heavily constructed yet also very breathable. Despite its monochromatic color scheme, the graphic is slow to fade, and remains one of the most fascinating designs that Alex Grey has illustrated, and while severe in appearance, possibly the most anatomically precise. More like wearable artwork than a shirt, it can serve either function.

758
this T's artwork (front-side only)celebrates the theme of mortality and transcedence, and the sensitively-rendered, anatomically-inspired graphic hearkens back to the figurative illustration on the "Grey Man" shirt, though "Spectre Spiral" is, if possible, even more haunting in appearance. I purchased this shirt through Amazon from a carrier who has temporarily suspended supply of this shirt, so I'm recommending this one instead.

Why are Tool fans so fucking insane.

So you're looking at society from an obscure, non-logical view and coming to a radical conclusion.
tell me on what grounds the state has a right to force my participation

the cool thing is voluntaryism and lefty anarchism can coexist
Well, they can't.

Because neither of them can or will exist in the first place.

And where the fuck is everybody commenting on Door's transition from social anarchism to voluntaryism?

You fuckers would've leave me alone when I went from a communist to just a capitalist.
the cool thing is voluntaryism and lefty anarchism can coexist

I can have my business over here, and you can have your silly hippie commune over there.

Then when your commune fails and you're starving go death you can come and work for me so you can eat.

Serious / Re: What's your beef with the transgender crowd?
« on: December 30, 2014, 12:56:28 AM »
I genuinely don't give a fuck how people identify or refer to themselves.

If someone is trans, I'm willing to start using the correct pronoun if they'd like me to.

I do not recognize gender as non-binary though and I'm not going to bother with made-up, nonstandard pronouns just to please some special snowflake.

Officers have had their own golf courses on post since the 1800's guys. Their luxuries and decadence shouldn't surprise anyone. Haven't you heard me complain about how the Officer corps is only a ceremonial waste of tax money anymore given the new role of the modern NCO before?
is it true that naval officers have their own waiters?

So now, how comes our Muslims have westernized so well while yours are in the street protesting for Sharia law?
Have they?

51pc of Mosques in the U.S. have texts on-site categorised as advocating extreme violence.
How many of those are black nationalist mosques?

We have a small but interesting black islam movement that came about in the days of Malcolm X. These groups like to spout anti-semitic bullshit and talk about killing white people.

We don't have the same multiculturalist movement the euros have, so there's more pressure to assimilate.

It's also easier for minorities to adapt to our culture because we're not really tied to any specific nationality or ethnicity like so many european nations.

We're the newest culture on the block and we came from mixing old ones.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.
