Oh no, he was wonderful here. He plays a bible-quoting Christian who is trying to stay on a moral path despite all the violence and destruction around him. It's nothing like his other roles. Trust me, you'll like it. This is coming from someone who usually hates him.

It sounds like everybody put in 110% for this film.
The Shermans are all real, and IIRC the Tiger in the film is the last working Tiger 1 in the world. There hasn't been a real Tiger 1 in a film since 1946.

Naw, mang, you need to see it in a theater, even if you go by yourself. This is one of those movies that really works well with the big screen and the hugeass theater sound systems. You need to see it in the theater so you can FEEL the fucking explosions. It's an experience.

Can't answer for Christianity, but Islam did have a nice little clause stating that whatever was written later is what you should follow.
No idea. I gave up on religion classes in seventh grade, so my knowledge on Biblical scripture and policy is not up to date.
I don't think anyone needs to be "up to date" on a millennia-old book.
