Sin is the result of Man's failure to live in union with God's divine life. It literally means "missing the mark". There isn't a list of sins, there isn't a rule for what is and isn't sin. Sin isn't something that is "created" per se, it refers to man's failure. OUR failure. Not God's.
Are not the Ten Commandments considered rules?
Sin predates the ten commandments. If you look back, God's first commandment was not to eat from the Tree. This commandment did not create sin in and of itself. Rather, it was Adam and Eve's act of eating from the tree, failing to follow the commandment, that created sin.
You're confirming my argument. God created the rules for what is or is not sinful. Refusing to follow God's rules is sinful.

So you're essentially saying that you're going to vote for Sanders knowing he will be a lame duck, but at least you'll be able to moralise the election and look down on everybody who didn't vote for the Little Revolutionary Who Could.
It seems more like you're interested in signalling that you like systemic change and big, progressive policy initiatives than you are achieving those initiatives. Whatever you think of her, it's eminently clear that Hillary Clinton is the best chance of any kind of actual and effective progressive government than any other candidate, yet she's just not progressive enough for your essentially moralistic and impossible standards.
Because I don't view voting as a game. I don't get a reward for picking the winner. This isn't Las Vegas sports betting. I'm voting for the person who most closely represents my views and what I want in our country. Will I vote for Hillary in the general election? Most likely. But that doesn't mean I'm going to throw in the towel and vote for her in the primary.
