Wait, how did you even get into E3? I thought it was closed to the public.
I am in the industry. Working at Itechne/Scribetribe as a UX dev, and looking to move up in the world from there. But it is fairly easy to get in if you know what you're doing. I believe a pass is also buyable for 1000$ dollars.

It's interesting how people say Nintendo is not relevant at E3 anymore where they have the longest line for a booth at the whole expo. I'm currently 3 hours away from playing

These people probably see hundreds and hundreds of aspiring game journalists and designers during e3. I doubt it's that great for networking, none of these people probably remember who you are 5 minutes later. It's not like you're getting their personal contact info or an in for a job interview
Actually developers love meeting aspiring game devs and people here. Got burnie's info, capcom lead artists info, IW devs info. In fact we had a good conversation about creating modern warfare and we were talking to the guy who made all ghillied up who now works on the Titanfall two team. Trust me devs are just as interested to talk to others as a young game dev is. It is a very nice community. Much nicer than the online game community haha

that's cool as fuck actually
The online gaming community and professional gaming community are very different things, and I'm very glad it is. Honestly I thought a lot of people would be dicks. I thought Egoraptor might be too busy for me but he stopped in the middle of him going to a backstage just to talk to me and he was really happy to. He really made an effort to be a great guy and be social.

Trust me when I say. People want to meet and connect with others here. They make an effort to remember people. They will go out of their way to remember a name and get connected. As much as this is about games. It's always just as much about connecting. Jenna loved to talk to me and my friend and even though it didn't mean much she asked if I wanted her email to talk again. It is a very social experience. I will say that if you get a lot of social anxiety and are scared to talk to others it is gonna be hard for you to have a good time

Sure sounds awsome
It is beautiful in 4K, Cross play is seamless in a live Demo. It is very pretty and Dialogue flows really well! They were playing the Xbox version on the S and it had no issues, though I did notice in the night it is a bit more blue and lit up on Xbox than PC

I also got a shirt. It is comfy.
hey thanks for doing this its cool to get a perspective that isn't a paid journalist

Also have you been to the naughty America booty :^)
>Sees this post
>can't help but think of a racist response

I have been around a lot of North America but getting around is always a hassle since I was born Australian. Hoping to go to more southern countries after I return from Africa.

holy fuck that was supposed to say booth not booty

There's a VR porn booth at least there was yesterday
Oh. I just thought you were interested in my life... WHATEVER! I did not see that booth it is probably part of the southern halls clutter. Luckily I have the E3 app that shows every booth to me. My friend who's also here tried out VR for the first time and that was great. So I'll see if I can find it later today. My first priority is Zelda nigga.

You're making me jealous as fuck.

I have wanted to go to E3 for 3 years and never have been able to.
If you're jealous now, I'm sitting in line (got here an hour and a half before the expo) to be the first to play Zelda today and gonna be showing off the swag.

But seriously if anyone here is looking to be in the industry it is an amazing networking place. Meeting so many devs and celebrities. And everyone here is very respectful and nice, as long as you respect others they respect you. Seriously the most surreal experience I've ever had.

Have you heard anything about Fe? I can't find jack-shit on it.
Have not seen much from EA besides sports titles. I talked to a Dev but he only did the Madden games. They are all super nice people though. The lead Art Designer behind DR4 gave me his card and is now a good friend! It is seriously surreal being there.

that's cool man ! i hope to go one day soon. how much did it cost you all together, if you don't mind my asking.
I got a free registration and used miles for the plane so I really have not had to spend much at all besides food and the hotel which was around 500 all together being smart with money made it a much cheaper trip than I was thinking.

If I sell the Zelda swag I am getting tomorrow then I will make back around 300-400 of the money. I am wearing a 50 dollar gears shirt at the moment and my badge holder is running for 25 dollars alone on Ebay. E3 swag is best swag. I also have a Halo shirt for beating a pro at the Razor Booth.

Day one done. Just got to my hotel so Instead of taking pics I have been saving battery. But here is a summary:

DR4 looks sexy as fuck and plays really well but I asked and it will be 1080p 30frames.
Met Ross and Holly from Game Grumps.
Saw Adam Kovic and another guy from Funhaus but they seemed busy.
Saw Gus and Ryan and Jack from RT but they were also running around (First day this is expected)
Met Blaine from RT he is a super nice guy!
Recore is fun as holy fuck and I love it
Met Major Nelson and he wanted to talk with me tomorrow about going into the industry (making dem connections doe), also he is a super nice genuine guy. He had to run to get on the live show but still made time to talk. Great guy.
Met the overwatch team as well as many other game devs.
Tomorrow is Zelda playing time and looking to track down the other cool internet celebs I wanna meet cause fanboy as fuck
Oh I also saw Greenskull, he is a Halo Youtuber guy and was very tall, it scared me.

It has seriously been an amazing experience so far. Not just cause of the games but because of the people. I feel so blessed to be in a position that I can attend E3 :)

With all info team iron man at any given point so far. With a more basic idea of civil war there would be a chance of team cap. But iron man would definitely be the team he goes with in most situations.
