Well, I guess I take that side because I think that most of the time whatever is happening that's considered controversial in a game is done jokingly. (emphasis on most)

I mean, there are times when the game devs were trying to make the money as serious as possible and something controversial happens (ex: Quiet from mgsv apparel)

Sorry if I'm explaining this poorly, I'm not writing this at a good time.
I don't disagree on the done-jokingly thing. That sort of thing is to be dictated by the game's tone, however, and there are jokes that are delivered well, and jokes that are delivered... not-so-well.
Agreed.

>taking anything saints row seriously
Regardless of whether they're meant to be taken seriously or not, I still think games are an important reflection of our culture, and it would be nice if the reflection was a good one.
I guess I should've stated that there are limits :/

You could extend that to ">taking games seriously", to be honest. I mean, if you're gonna take that side, fine—I don't really have much to say to that.

Septagon / Can we fix the mobile PM's?
« on: September 14, 2015, 11:29:02 AM »
It kinda sucks when you have to hit the PM button before it changes the page, and seeing everything shoved to the side is bad because it makes it almost impossible to read the message.

Celsius is dumb and doesn't make any sense to me
Once you take the time to learn it it really makes more sense than Fahrenheit
everything about the metric system makes more sense than the U.S. standard
I agree, I'm just talking about Celsius

« on: September 14, 2015, 07:42:50 AM »
Everyone on here says read them in any order, but I think fall of reach boot camp and so on
What exactly are the names of the different lines?

All I know about is fall of reach  and escalation.
Idk, there is q lost on r/halo in their FAQ of what order you should read the comics, check that

I've been searching for The Fall of Reach comic series online everywhere for free, but can't find it. I can pretty much only find Escalation issues for free. Anyone know if they're out there somewhere?
Same, the only PDF files I could find were in french
