Won't be for awhile. They haven't even released the tools yet. And I'm interested to see how it will work on consoles. It will be very limited. And seeing as how Sony and MS make developers wait weeks just to release patches, how are they going to let some random persons code on their console?
Well the mods have to be checked before they're released, but it's a quick check.

I see a size meter creeping around in the corner of the screen but it's not all that clear >_>
I keep hitting it for the Boston airport because I decided to build my own floating house. And to make matters worse I may have dismantled some of my settlements for scrap steel.

No, I'm talking about the guy that "vouches for you at the entrance to the Railroad" the first time you get there.
Valentine and Danse don't do this, so I'm not sure what Danse has to do with this. I'm guessing your databse lists two synth companions, and thus you assumed I'm talking about either the one, or the other. Assuming you've played through the campaign, I'm talking about the guy that changes his face when he goes outside. He's a synth.

so i bought this game with little to no prior knowledge of the amount of content there would be, and i'm pretty fucking amazed so far...practically falling in love with the ability to create and manage our own settlements
but i'm a little confused with the companions, when/where do i get a dog? because i've been stuck with codsworth since the beginning of the game and, while he's a cheeky lad, i'd rather trade him in for a cute doge
Go to sanctuary, and follow the road to concord (the place with the minutemen and the power armor) The dog will be at a gas station on the way
