Is my  new gpu good?
https://pcpartpicker.com/user/EnderWolf/saved/KjWwrH
I've decided to follow your guys advice and get win10 from somewhere else.
750 ti can run anything, but most new games only at low-medium settings. It's alright, but I would go down to 8gb of ram and maybe get a slightly cheaper i5, and then get a better gpu.

Yeah, in like a year or so, you'll want to get more ram and maybe a better cpu; but if you are on a budget then go for a better gpu because that's where you'll see the most performance for your money.
I think I'm going to stick with 12, but what's the difference between the different i5's?
Different i5's have varying performance. The 4460 is around $170ish and does more than enough for what you seem to want. It's a great cpu.
alriht, thanks man

You may not be able to run games like FO4 or TW3 on high settings, but the GPU is pretty decent.
Wasn't planning on it, I had a hell of a lot of fun playing new Vegas as a slideshow on my old PC, so any upgrade is a good upgrade.

Thanks husky, but $900 is way over my limit.
Your GPU should be $900+ to be part of the pc mustard race
I'm going to look for a different GPU, one that's cheaper but still not shit.

Well, I edited your build a bit. It's a tad pricey but that's because this actually factors in the GPU

That's a lot of money e.e

-That GPU looks like it was taken off the market.  I'm more of a fan of EVGA cards, too.
-I have that mobo.  I like it, but it's pretty pricey.
-Buy your Windows key on /r/microsoftsoftwareswap for much less, or get a lesser version of Windows and then upgrade for free.  Or get a free key through college/a friend who goes to college.
How do the college kids get one, I can ask my brother but he's too retarded to figure it out on his own.

Peronally I'd get a 250GB SSD to go along with your HDD. SSDs are far faster and far less likely to fail than HDDs.

Also, you should probably get a different mobo so you won't have to update the BIOS before using.
Oh yeah okay

Which one is that?

Also sorry for derailing this will be my last question.

I have a question about PC gaming with fallout 4 and gaming PC's in general.

Spoiler

Does this look decent/look like it can run fallout 4? If not what should I change?

You're gonna need to spend at least twice as much on a processor.
Any recommendations? I dint really know what I'm doing.

I'm questioning your decision to go with an AMD processor, only 8 GB of RAM, and Windows 10, but other than that you should be able to run it fine. Maybe not on ultra settings, but it'll run fine none the less.

I'm also going under the assumption that this is the lowest definition of "run".
I don't know the difference between the company's so I don't know which is better, I've been able to run NV on 4GB and that was the required amount  and I can switch it to more if it's not too costly, I chose windows 10 because I think it's a good OS and I've had no problems with it + Xbox streaming with it sounds nice.

Does anyone know if attackers spawn inside the settlement's area (when you're building it shows you the border) or do they spawn outside
both
That's dumb

Also I think you should be able to just set certain settlers as guards, and that they walk around with a gun and armor in case any spawn inside.
