Serious / Re: If censorship improves a work, should it be done?« on: January 27, 2016, 10:27:45 AM »Well that film was banned from a lot of countries, so I think it's a bit "different".R rated movies are allowed to have sex and nudity in them, so it would be pretty silly to protest it.I agree. I never said anything about that, though. 3399

Perfectly fine. So, it's either okay, or not okay. "Perfectly fine," or "no." 3400

Because it's both. They are not mutually exclusive, quite obviously. 3401

Serious / Re: Is classified experimentation on humans morally permissible?« on: January 27, 2016, 10:01:09 AM »
Kind of a toughie
A long time ago experimenting on dead bodies was seen as a terrible thing to do, but someone did it and now we have the ability to help people with injuries better and to do stuff like surgery. It's a pretty complicated situation. 3403

Serious / Re: If censorship improves a work, should it be done?« on: January 27, 2016, 09:51:04 AM »Because stuff like the news is really easy to access, a kid could accidentally switch to a news channel and witness something like a video of a guy or girl getting killed or anything else that's nsfw and news worthy. Why not? Because someone might be... too sensitive to handle that imagery? Not really, I just don't want to be seeing what the weather will be like while helping my mom do daycare stuff (she does it while I'm at school) and all of the sudden they play a video of Isis or someone else decapitating people or have them accidentally see a video of a naked guy running around at a football game.I mean, if it's something like a gory or shocking video on the news or a video of a guy runing around streaking, then yeah, censor that stuff. Why? Wouldn't that qualify as you being overly-sensitive? I don't mind gore, I wont flinch at it or anything, but I don't want someone that's really young or has a serious problem with seeing that stuff to witness something by accident. 3405

While that game sounds really weird, I still think censorship is bad.
