So you want pain to not exist? Pain is a good thing, it tells you when you're fucked. That's the problem, though. The game itself is designed poorly. You can argue that pain is a good thing, because it's our bodies' way of telling us that we're in danger, but that's the thing--the fact that danger exists at all in the first place is the problem.
Besides, if I have a broken leg, I'm going to be on the ground in agonizing pain until somebody finds me. What I should be able to do is tell my body, "Yeah, okay, I get it--my leg is broken, and I can't use it. Stop telling me."
Then I could probably move to someplace where I could get some help, instead of waiting for somebody to find me, because I'm too weak to move/am in complete shock.
But we can't do that, so the way I see it, pain is poorly designed. But the fact that it's even possible to get hurt in this universe is an even bigger flaw in itself.
Without any sense of feeling humans might as well not exist, because there's no incentive to have anything done if you're just a sack of meat.
Agreed. That's why I want all life to cease to exist, because the ultimate goal of sentient life (a perfect utopia where there is no pain, suffering, conflict, or discomfort) is not only completely impossible--it would also render life completely pointless.
So that's my philosophy--we'd be better off not existing. You don't have to agree with me, but that's how I see it.
Why waste the effort of achieving a utopia when the utopia is just one global extinction away?

The absence of pleasure being "not bad" is just a basic observational fact. If I am not currently experiencing pleasure, that's not necessarily a bad thing. It's certainly better than feeling pain or suffering or discomfort or any other negative sensation--so it's not bad. It's neutral.
If there were no people, there would be no pain, no suffering, no discomfort, no anything. That's a good thing.
The absence of pleasure and happiness isn't a bad thing.

I know this means nothing but it does mean something to me, to have 181 people subbed to your channel. It happened by random luck and I'm very happy that I have that many people subbed, if I lost all of that and all of my videos.... Just, fuck. I don't know what I'm going to do.
They do game LP's, work for Machinima (they dislike working for them, but they have a contract), do podcasts etc. Normal stuff. I'm sure they'll be fine

Never played it, but the friends I know irl that have played it say it's meh. Watches one of them play it once and it it seemed alright.
The combat, which is the main focus of it all, is really good.
I don't mean this in a rude way, but I'm bad at phrasing things so it might seem that way Spoiler , but this thread seems hypocritical if you compare it to your guy's opinion on mgsv
imo I believe the main focus of V is the gameplay, which it does very well, and it lacks in the story- the one thing I believe it really isn't trying to accomplish.
And ITT your all saying it's okay mgr had a bad story because it was more focused on the fighting. just a thought also sorry for any typos or anything like that, I'm on my phone and multitasking.
