I have lucid dreams probably around twice a month. They're fun (and usually hot).

I would never be in that situation.
That's why it's a hypothetical situation.

Sounds like it the hooded man kill kill the children either way if he wanted to.
It's a hypothetical. You know for a fact that the children will live if you kill the dog.

The African children are in a cage, dangled above a pit of lava. A hooded man is standing next to the lever that will lower the children into the lava, unless you kill a labrador retriever that's in front of you. It's very cute, and will try to fight back. You're bare handed.

Do you do it?

Serious / Re: Who was the best and worst President in US history?
« on: September 07, 2014, 10:42:10 PM »
FDR was pretty good.
I almost made my worst a four way tie because of him. He is terrible in the fact that he increased the size of the government way too much. Not to mention he made one of the most broken welfare systems in the world.
Just forget about the fact that he ended the Depression, created tens of thousands of jobs, and led us through the deadliest war in European history, right?
Well I'm extremely anti big government and he increased the government's size almost more than any other president in history. Not to mention he made the broken welfare system we have today and his fiscal policies were all around terrible. In the end his effects on the economy were negative in the long term.
That's probably why our opinions differ. I'm no fan of big government, but I'm not really that strongly against it. But how does our current welfare system resemble the one he made? I thought his whole idea was making people work for the government to make money (Civilian Conservation Corps and all that).

Lol black coffee, it tastes of shit and eats away your stomach lining
I usually add cream and sugar to my coffee, but I'll never drink it cold unless it's a frappucinno.

Does "Coca-Cola Life" have aspartame in it? Because if so, it's worse for you than regular coke.

OT: Coffee is all.

No, it uses Stevia leaf extract, I try to stay away from artificially sweetened drinks, but hey, you live in the US, you've got corn syrup to contend with.

Thank god that shit is banned here
Okay, good. Stevia is the best sweetener, but 100% sugar is also good. Corn syrup is bad, but aspartame is the worst. That shit will literally kill you.

Nobody is 100% bad. Of course even the bad ones did some good things.
I'd consider FDR one of the good ones that did some bad things.

The Owari lands on the moon, and the atmosphere synthesizer is turned on. Immediately, a colossal roar nearly splits the eardrums of all the Talon men on the moon. A giant shockwave erupts from the synthesizer, creating clouds, air, and ozone all around the shuttle. The men begin preparations to form a colony in that spot.

Sixteen vertibirds. (901,000 soldiers total)

Controlled Capitalism, with higher pay for government jobs, especially the military. Due to the vast amount of land and work that needs doing, unemployment is low. Territory is extremely safe and controlled, due to idle military forces being assigned to constantly patrol the streets, shooting ghouls, mutants, and raiders on sight. Quality of life is extremely high, with all residents having access to basic luxuries such as hot showers, electricity, and clean water. Because of this, taxes are able to be moderately high with little complaint. Official currency is the Talon Company Dollar (TCD) which has a value of 1:1 to caps.

Other assets: The espionage agency Talon Intelligence Sect (TIS); 50-foot tall steel wall along Talon's southern border; water purification plant in New Jersey; hydroponically grown marijuana which is sold to the general populace; production of chems which are sold to non-Talon wastelanders; swath of steel factories across Pennsylvania that produce weaponry, ammunition, armor, vertibirds, and various other products.
