I disagree, if someone changes their name, nameplate and avatar, maybe their should be something more telling than a constant username that never changes in their signature, maybe they should make a thread.
But usually I've only seen people do that for jokes, a simple name change shouldn't confuse anyone.
Unless the user changes their name to something like what another user has.
it's more of an annoyance than an actual problem the name change limit is one of the better things about bnet tbh

It's more to do with making sure it doesn't clutter up the front page, sep7 is a relatively slow site (Compared to a big one like bungie, kinda obvious) so a locked thread takes a few hours to sink down.
A spam of locked threads clutters the place up, so they get tidied away <.<
eh I guess so but it still takes out some of the fun of posting in threads you know are going to be locked ah well w/e

It still baffles me why every game doesn't have a Skyrim/Fallout save system.
It's both a blessing and a curse. I find myself having to delete 100 save files sometimes by the end of a playthrough.
TFW you save because you're nervous and then 5 seconds later walk into trouble that you didn't see coming. I saved one time when I was in the middle of nowhere supposedly. Couple seconds later I got mauled by deathclaws that were already on their way.
Reload save and turn around. "Oh hey I have roughly 6 seconds before a pack of rape reptiles descends upon me."
Honestly, in Fallout 4, I wouldn't object to a save limitation similar to that of waiting/fast travelling, where you can't do it if there's enemies nearby. That would eliminate problems like these.
