Fedoras are still acceptable if you can pull it off
lolno, fedoras are irreversibly symbols of autism at this point
And what the hell is wrong with autism? Not the severe kind. The regular kind. The one I have.
I mean, autism is objectively a disadvantage. There's nothing wrong with it on a social level, but it's definitely not a positive thing to have. Some autistics are annoying because of the symptoms of their autism, which is fine, but you're annoying because you define yourself based on your condition. There's no shame in having it, but you shouldn't be "proud" of it either, like you claim to be.
If there was a cure to suck the autism out of me, I would have long taken it by now.
Then there you go. All you asked was what was 'wrong' with it. But yeah, it's really not as big of a deal as people make it out to be. You've just got to stop defining yourself on it. You're only "that autistic poster" if you present that image of yourself. I mean, at least 1/4 of this forum is probably autistic, but you wouldn't really know it. Comms is a perfect example. He can be cringy, but it's not the melodramatic, self-deprecating, embarrassing stuff that you sometimes put out there. And wow, this post sounds way meaner than I intended. Forgive me, I'm pretty stoned and tired. Never a good combination.

fucking lol
You have absolutely no respect for history, do you?
Ingrate.
Spoiler Excuse me while I invent the time machine and go back to early Glendale and live there so I don't have to remember you people anymore, because you all wouldn't be alive for another hundred years and I'd be long dead and you would have never known about my existence.
First of all, you can't "respect" an idea. Like history. That makes no sense. And secondly, I love history, particularly mid-20th century. But that doesn't mean that I'm going to make some whiny thread about how everything was better back in the day because people don't like me in this age.

Corrupt
You're using that word very loosely.

First off, acronyms aren't grammatically incorrect. And secondly, I'm actually kind of curious as to how my ellipsis was wrong there. Enlighten me?[1]
[1] This is an imperative statement, and thus does not need a question mark.
They are when you type them like you did ("Lol"), as though it were a regular word. Ask any English professor if it's okay to say "lol" in any essay ever. It ain't gonna fly.
Ellipses are weird. Technically, they're not for emphatic pauses, as they are so often used for on the Internet. They're for stuff like. . . uh. . . you know. . . .
Like that. It's when something (like radio static, or a mental block) is breaking up your thought, causing you to trail off. They're not for your dramatic pauses or whatever (not that I don't use them for that).
Structurally, there's supposed to be spaces in between each dot, and a fourth dot should be added if it's the end of the sentence. Really, this rule only applies to novels, where you actually have dialogue between characters and shit, so it's not like it's a terrible error or anything.
In terms of common Internet usage, the only thing you did wrong, I guess, was not put a space after it (like you're supposed to with all punctuation). So, instead of "Lol...I'm surprised", it should've been "Lol... I'm surprised".
I came into this thread with smugness, but I actually ended up legitimately learning something. I wouldn't call this a shit-post thread, Verby.

I was forced to come here against my will,[1] please help me.
[1] Comma splice.
I find it amusing how so few people seem to know how to use commas.
Yeah, people use commas like semicolons for the most part.

Lol[1]...[2]I'm surprised Verb liked this, considering it's a sentence fragment. [1] "Lol" is not a word. [2] Botched ellipsis.
In my opinion, the only fragments that are worth pointing out are isolated predicates. Isolated subjects are fine.
First off, acronyms aren't grammatically incorrect. And secondly, I'm actually kind of curious as to how my ellipsis was wrong there. Enlighten me?
