I already gave reasons as to why the West directly started these wars above, so just respond to that if you're going to respond at all :)
Except the complex web of alliances in 1913/14 Europe isn't regarded as the seminal cause of the War; it's Russia's initial mobilisation.
...which was the result of the web of alliances.

It would be great if you could link us to these alleged reasons instead of trying to shift the goal posts. Because it's certainly not in this thread.
He obscurely put it in the quote of his original post in his response to Slash; it isn't actually in one of its own posts.
Obscurely? You must be dense...why would I make a whole post just to say "nope", without adding anything to support that?

I wonder why he didn't just drop them off at a shelter.
They'd just be euthanized anyway...

Gotta love people. "It's fine to kill a dog with a painful injection that just paralyzes them so they don't react to the pain", but it's a fucking atrocity to give them a quick, easy death via gunshot. What's the difference? One causes blood, the other doesn't. So yeah, it's fine to kill an animal in a painful way as long as it looks clean to us.

That's not how euthanasia works. I have no idea how you got the idea that euthanasia is painful, but it absolutely isn't.  It also gives the animal a degree of dignity in the sense that you're not blowing its brains out. The breed in question was a shepherd, which are very popular and are highly adoptable as puppies; it was very likely that they would have found homes and have lived happy lives.
Laughing my ass off if you legitimately believe animal shelters use euthanasia when killing their animals.

Or we could, I dunno, not fucking kill them.

Or how about actually making sure your critters don't reproduce in the first place if you don't have the capacity to take care of a litter or find a place for them to live.
Well, yeah. That's obviously the way to go if you're at that point, but at the point where you have seven puppies and no way to take care of them, what are your options? People love the whole "taking them to a shelter" idea because it's so nice and clean. When, in reality, it's far more hellish than ending their lives quickly.

Which I'm aware of. In which case I get off my fucking ass and find a decent home for the litter. I know that shelters put critters down after a period of time when they don't find an owner. So, I get out there and do it myself.

I had a litter of kittens this year from a stray cat that we couldn't catch in time to get fixed. 5 little buggers. Everybody in town here already has cats. And most farmers don't take good care of cats or dogs. But I found good places for them by looking out in the area.

The owner of those puppies was just taking a lazy ass shortcut option either way. Long story short, don't be fucking lazy. Get your fucking pets fixed. And if you have a litter of animals because you couldn't do that, then get off your fucking ass and do some legwork. Take some responsibility for yourself.
Okay, I agree with you completely. The most responsible option is to find homes for them yourself. But I was more referring to the people who are horrified at the idea of what this guy did, but would be more than happy to see them dropped off at a "shelter". Even though the latter is objectively worse.

Nah man this is a thread solely about car mods

Even threads that had a whole body of text (like the animal killing one) were deleted, lmao. It's better than seeing the same necrobumped threads on the front page constantly, at least

Community. Season 1 sucked.
It had a few good episodes (Contemporary American Poultry and Modern Warfare were great) but other than that, I agree. S2 is when it really picks up.

The paintball episodes were the fantastic. Directed by the same guys that made The Winter Soldier.

Still, Remedial Chaos Theory is the best episode in the series.
Oh my god, thank you. That episode is fantastic. I made a whole thread about it and just got laughed at, but seriously, such a brilliant half hour of television.

Hitler, obviously. I could stop a lot of WW2, try my best to fix the situation, and then kill myself.
no, you can't change anything

everything that happened to Hitler would happen to you

you wouldn't be you in hitler's body, you'd be literal Hitler

Answer others' and post your own

Would you rather be a hobo with a 5% chance of getting inherited by a rich guy, or be Hitler two years before the end of World War II? Because you know you're gonna have to shoot yourself but you still got two more years as Hitler.
