The release of other user’s personal information, including full names, addresses, social media accounts, images, private messages, etc. without their consent is not tolerated.

If the person is given permission then it's ok.

Way to cut out an important bit.
'Not caring' is implicit consent.

If I recall correctly he said he didn't want them posted in the pm.

I can override staff and I've done it before, but I have to wonder why I'd override a staff member that was enforcing the rules correctly.

Also if Halo Wars was a PC game would it do well compared to what's out there for that system?

No

FUCK I DIDNT WANT THE WHOLE STUDIO TO SHUT DOWN
Microsoft is brutal like that. Did the same to Ensemble even though they just made the best selling console RTS of all time.

Ensemble wasn't shut down. It was split into two different companies. The people who wanted to continue with RTS games stayed at one and the people who wanted to work on other genres went to the other.

Just pointing out that there's nothing wrong with torrenting. It's a completely legal method of file distribution. Much like a direct download it's the content that matters, not the method in which you obtain it.
Nitpicking when we all know exactly what it entails is silly

I wouldn't exactly say "we all know" when I've had conversations with people on here that believed torrenting in general was illegal, but ok.
Buying drug paraphernalia might not be a crime, but we all know exactly what they are used for regardless.

Sure you might use torrents for a legitimate purpose, but how many people do that? Only torrent legitimate shit and absolutely nothing else?

yeah

no

I mean you can swim in the grey area of saying you only torrented things that you already owned in another form, which to me is fine even though I wouldn't do it but again - how many people only do that out of the userbase?

A lot of people actually. I've downloaded legitimate games via torrenting because the developer offered that as an alternative to direct download. Hell even Blizzard offers the option (albeit with their own client) and they're one of the biggest PC devs out there.

You could replace torrent with direct download and achieve the same result. In fact one of the biggest direct download sites (megaupload) is notorious for housing pirated material.

This kind of offtopic though so we should drop the line of discussion and continue it elsewhere if you want. All I wanted to do was pop in and mention that torrenting isn't illegal in order to avoid any sort of chilling effect.

Don't these never turn out well?

I mean. Duh. Anime never turns out well.

But especially when it's based on a game, right?
It's my understanding that the F-Zero anime was pretty good.

Not really. The only thing people watched it for is the falcon punch at the end.

did people in the theater howl at the screen?

No. A bunch of babies were crying the whole time though.

I'd cry too if I was forced to see a furry movie.

I find it funny that Elite:Dangerous has more content than NMS and is being sold for half the price.

« on: March 03, 2016, 10:38:43 PM »
....

....I'll try one more time and see if you know where I'm going with this.

If you're buying video games instead of just buying the game developer company, you are literally throwing your money in the trash.

But that's what houses cost here. A shitty house in a terrible neighborhood is still $400,000 at least. I would guess the 3-bedroom house I rent a room in [which I split with a friend] is in the $650,000-$750,000 range. No way I could afford to buy this instead of renting.
But renting, in the long run, *IS* more expensive than buying. But the 10-20% down payment is what prevents people like me from buying.

I can't tell if you're intentionally being dense or not.

2930
Cheat is the only one that can do it if I recall correctly. So yeah, you're going to need to get him in here.

3 is my favourite, but I really enjoyed the multiplayer of Reach. Pre-title update anyway.

Pre-Title update?
Why does anyone prefer pre Title Update? Bloom was absolute cancer pre update and Armor lock was worse than it currently is.

Because the game was balanced around bloom. When you remove the bloom it breaks the balance of the game. Reach was poop regardless though.

iirc, superdelegates can still change their minds at any point before or during the convention

so i mean, the writing isn't quite on the wall just yet

Super delegates are meaningless anyway, they'd never go against the popular vote since that would be suicide for the democratic party. The only reason they're being included into the count right now is to attempt to suppress voter turn out from the Sanders camp by making it seem as though he has to overcome impossible odds to win.

Stop.

Everything I said is true.

No, the codename was SMT x FE. Final name is Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE.
Oh. Seriously?

how could they go and fuck with people's heads like that
Trying to pander to Hikkis in Nippon. Hilariously, it sold like dog shit in Japan.

Surprise surprise, people really don't like false advertising. Maybe if we're lucky it'll flop in the west too.

i imagine myself getting bored pretty quick
getting new ships and flying to empty planets doesn't seem all that appealing
and i call them empty planets because what is there to do on these planets other than explore, look at bright environments, maybe shoot some animals

say you were the first one there

but no one else will ever go there and you can't interact with other players due to the lack of any sort of real multiplayer anyway so it's not like it matters

Shit, I made one post about it. Nobody's butthurt or getting worked up.

Your responses including the part you edited out in your last one indicate otherwise.

You're getting really worked up over this, huh?

Not really, I'm just letting you know that complaining about a comedian making a joke on a comedy show is kind of foolish.

18 minutes of well-reasoned arguments and then the last three minutes were just shitting on his ancestor's last name, basically just insulting his fans' intelligence.

You realize that it's a comedy show right?

This is a really stupid defense of the Drumpf meme. The show was funny and poignant, but then he topped it all off with a extravagant punchline about his ancestors' name that was really just a lowbrow attempt at character assassination.

You're getting really worked up over a comedian making a joke. Maybe you shouldn't hold a comedian to the same standards that you'd hold a professional journalist. The most important thing in a comedy show is to make people laugh.
