The Flood / Re: Obama Is Going To Pull Funding for NC Schools

Watching the welfare states cry for the removal of the ones that pay for their welfare is always amusing.
Your entire state is only rich because of Jews. We don't want your fucking jew money.

Pennsylvania will have to pick up the slack if you remove our Jew money from the equation. Are you ready to carry a heavier load?

What game is it? Fire Emblem?

Series was better before it just relied on tropes of waifus. Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn actually had a good story.

>implying it hasn't always done that

Those are also the only games you've played, so I'm not sure how you're qualified to speak on the story of other FE games unless you're just parroting someone elses opinion.

It's not like the stories to FE have ever been particularly amazing though so you'd be hard pressed to find one that could actually be considered good outside the realm of video games, much like most everything else in the medium.

Do you consume their remains?

No, that would infect us with the cooties of inferior beings.

Only get a console if you have friends on it.

If you don't have any friends on a console go with PC.

Maybe because certain effects are kind of immersion breaking.
Yeah, they're fucking magic. Of course they are.

http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/GameplayAndStorySegregation

People latch onto every small little thing they can grasp at when trying to criticize Bethesda. The worst parts of Fallout 4 are easily the dialogue, quests, and RPG elements. The gameplay/gunplay is literally perfect.

Yeah, and for some people having magic in fallout is a big no no. There's nothing wrong with not liking immersion breaking weapons in a game.

It came straight from Sony's official website.
wtf no it didn't

that shit is developed and published by Atlus, Sony has no say

umm it did tho, it was listed on their website as being on PS4 and PC when some hacker dude broke into their shit and spilled the beans

they later went on damage control and said they need better security and that you shouldn't pay attention to what he leaked because they haven't actually announced anything yet

my guess is that it's going to be like mass effect and tales of vesperia, it'll be out for a year or two on ps4 before being ported to the pc

Without access to F4SKE what you can do with mods on console is going to be pretty limited. I wouldn't expect anything too crazy on console platforms.

Question because i'm not keeping up to date with this but

Does the GECK or their filter have a check for suitability for mods?
I imagine it has to be done with the GECK for consoles so that you aren't adding in things like nazi stormtrooper armour (breaks my heart) but would stuff like zombie apocalypse which spawns 30 feral ghouls in every other cell be allowed or denied for console limitation?
I recall Todd Howard saying something like players would be able to "break" their consoles if they wanted to, so console limitations shouldn't be a problem.

Bethesda said they'd be filtering mods for content though. So nothing really offensive (like nazis and nudity) are going to make it through if Bethesda is paying attention.

So, would anyone actually like to tackle her points?

Nuclear energy is dirty, dangerous and expensive and should be ruled out for all those reasons. Fukoshima is the poster child of the nuclear power industry. You can put it in someone else's back yard or on the other side of the world but we are all endangered by it.

And we don't need it! Renewable are the least expensive. Nuclear is the most expensive. It only survives because our government is in bed with the industry and campaign contributions by the loan guarantees that the industry cannot operate without. The continued existence of this lethal form of energy is a tribute to the corruption of our political system. Clean up our energy. Clean up our politics. Join the Green movement.

I mean, people are always talking about how a disaster couldn't happen, but... Fukushima happened.
I can't talk for how dangerous it is, other than other forms of power generation tend to be way, way more dangerous (Coal in particular actually causes a lot of deaths). It's actually pretty clean, aside from the waste it produces, and even then it's still far less than things like coal or oil just because of how energy dense something like Uranium is. And Nuclear is also cheaper than quite a few forms of renewable energy, solar energy in particular tends to be very expensive (Although it's become a lot cheaper recently)

They're only more expensive due to them being newer along with a bunch of political reasons.

I like good games.
Old games have a higher concentration of those.
Dude seriously? What does a game matter if it's old or new, if it's good, enjoyable and appealing then what else matters?
I'm not saying that old games are better because they're old. I'm saying that old games just so happen to be better.

Quote
Plus, tell me what year warrants a game to be 'new'
Sixth gen or earlier.
Honestly, I think that has more to do with just how we remember the good old games, and forget about the stuff that sucked

also when you're younger you have a greater tolerance for bad games

Nice

Shinies got a bit devalued for me in pokemon x
after I got the shiny charm it was pretty easy to get anything I wanted in shiny (breeding)
I dunno. I've been doing the Masuda Method for all my competitive Pokemon for years and I still haven't gotten a shiny out of it. Maybe I'm just extremely unlucky with shinies...
hmm maybe

How many did you breed?

I MM'd for a shiny protean greninja, took about 450 frogs
Well I've bred ~30 competitive Pokemon in total, and it generally takes anywhere from 1-3 boxes per pokemon depending on if I'm starting out with the right nature or not. So I guess you can say I've hatched around 1800 eggs and still haven't gotten a shiny out of it.
ouch
that's a pretty rough number tbh

I managed to breed a shiny treeko for tblocks in 12 eggs once

RNGesus is a coon tbh
Yeah, the RNGesus hates me when it comes to me getting my own shinies, but it seems to love me when it comes to Wonder Trade shinies...

Fairly certain your trainer ID also factors into whether or not you can get a shiny too. So it sucks to be you if you get the shit end of the Trainer ID stick.

The first 50 seconds of this. Mainly due to the bit that Steve Vai did.

Steve Vai didn't do that bit. The person who did it was uncredited for a reason. Look up Marty's interview on why he got fired and he'll tell you the whole story.

Umm, yes he did. It was in the documentary on it.

The blues bit wasn't Steve Vai.

Fairly certain it was since they showed him playing that bit during the documentary.
