Not sure how a game that was near universally panned got green-lit for a sequel, but ok.
you reckon they think people will ironically buy it?

I wouldn't be surprised if they did.

Two words: Mark Cerny.

And I wouldn't call it "universally panned". It made some 4s, but then it made some 7s. Hopefully the sequel can patch up the problems.

Umm, the metacritc average is a 54. I also said "near universally" not universally. I'm well aware gamestops marketing magazine gave it a good score to sell copies.

I'm hoping Atriox doesn't die in this game and we get him in other things. The banished would be a good replacement for the covenant in future Halo games.

I'm curious as to what integration means to them.

I'm also curious as to how Khalid Mahmood can claim muslims are among britains "most loyal and patriotic" citizens when 60% of them refuse to acknowledge that Al-Qaeda carried out the deadliest terrorist attack in modern history on their closest ally despite Al-Qaeda saying themselves that they did it.

Oh boy, another generic mishmash of every zombie story told before.

But it wasn't about zombies at all
It was about two weary people bonding over a journey

Which is nothing new in the Zombie genre. It's actually pretty standard.

Next time just don't have any music acts. We're never here for whatever mayonnaise instrument you have.

Or if they keep them they should at least be vidya related instead of being random acts done by disinterested lip singing musical celebrities.

I'm enjoying Sun more than I thought I would.

The fact that it (and other actual games) lost to Pokemon GO in the mobile category further illustrates why you shouldn't take these awards seriously.

I mean, yeah, it's a meaningless award. But it's only meaningless because games like Overwatch can win it.

That and the entire award show is basically just a vehicle to sell advertisements at this point.

Someone explain to me why people bitch and moan at titanfall for having no singleplayer, yet Team Fortress for Normies gets away with it scott free and wins GOTY.

At least Titanfall actually had an ingame story. Even Destiny doesn't make you pay for Brian Reed-tier Sword Art Online comics books to get the story.

overwatch was more fun for more people than titanfall ever was

And Transformers movies continue to be big hits at the box office despite being terrible movies.

whats your point

Just because a lot of people like something doesn't mean that it's good or whatever it's doing is good. You can't bash one game for doing (or not doing something in this case) and then give a free pass to another that's doing (or not doing) the same thing just because people like it more.

Well I mean you can, nobody is going to physically stop you from doing so, but it's pretty dumb to do that.

I have to wonder if people who say BF1 isn't as in depth as past battlefield games have actually played past battlefield games.

Arguably BC1/ BC2 had a bit in there, but I couldn't comment on them in relation to BF1's campaign yet.

I'm talking about gameplay.

"I'm just going to make a vague statement instead of explaining my point and adding to the discussion."

Please, elaborate.

I don't think I really have to considering what you've posted. If you seriously think that BF1 and SWBF play the same you've never played either and are probably basing this off of youtube videos you've seen or something.

Also anyone who thinks that BF3 and 4 had depth because they had a shit ton of useless crap to unlock (and I say useless because there were maybe 10 viable weapons in the game and each one had one or two optimal set ups attachment wise) doesn't know what depth is.

Nice job completely avoiding the subject.

I didn't but ok.

It's bullshit that a fucking expansion gets RPG of the year.

I mean, I don't care about any of the nominees of that category but expansions should not be given game awards.

This is the successor to the Spike VGAs remember? Go into it expecting the awards to be trash. The only thing to look forward to are the new game announcements and trailers.

god I love Michigan

if an item is incorrectly labelled here, you have to sell it to the customer for that price/bargain

that's how it should be

It's also easy to exploit, I worked for a place once that had that policy and you always had people looking to game the system by switching out labels, signs, and price tags on things.

You can't prove they did it so you have to give it to them at that price.

Who?
really?

Yes.
Do you know anything about world history?

I don't think he was ever brought up during world history class in middle and high school for me.
Really? What kind of shit school did you go to? Castro was one of the biggest players during the 60s and the Cuban Missile Crisis.
I feel like Deci not paying attention in class is much more likely in this situation.

You're not one to talk if I did or not, Nuka.

Seriously, the only thing world history talked about the most was World War 1 and 2. We didn't really learn jack shit about the cold war let alone the Cuban Missile Crises.

Learning about the Cold War is part of the standard CA high school world history curriculum. You were either skipping class or not paying attention during it to have missed the section on Fidel Castro and the Cuban missile crisis.

gogeta being canonized was nice too.
This didn't happen though

gt is/was canon
As far as I'm concerned, no Toriyama involvement beyond some character illustrations makes it non canon from the start.

While DB and Z have the manga, Super has Toriyama's outlines and character art (and Toyotaro as his chosen successor). I'm pretty sure Dragon Ball Online even had more Toriyama input than GT.

i mean, what is canon is decided by the owner and distributor. disney decides what is canon with star wars, not lucas.

besides, gts art style is waaay cooler than some of super's stuff.

Toei doesn't own dragon ball

they owned the right to create under the license

i thought about using the word "creator" but i knew someone would try to argue that that right belongs to toriyama

the only own the rights for the anime

shueisha inc. actually owns dragonball

okay but im talking about the anime...

having the rights to make the anime doesn't mean you get to dictate what is and isn't canon

toei doesn't actually own dragon ball so therefore their filler isn't canon, this isn't comparable to starwars in any way because lucas sold starwars to disney so disney actually owns it
