The Flood / Re: I should find a girlfriend and settle down

I've wrangled, and I've rambled, and I've rodeoed around. I've never once thought about settling down ...

Dude.

Hot. Single. Moms.

You now have access and trust.

That time is behind me...although I very much still want the milf fantasy. But I like Savannah a lot and don't want to just hookup anymore, as tempting as it is.

I hope it's just for a few chapters to change up the pace. I'm interested to see why they're attacking J.D. and crew; apparently he has no idea.

Dangerous how? What kind of drugs is he using? What's so dangerous about them? Do you know or is it the "drugs are bad because my mom said so" mentality?
He said he uses coke regularly.

Glad that fad died. Ex-bronies are probably ashamed of themselves.

It unsettles me to know you're working with children

Not because of sex or anything but because of your unstable mental condition
That's really funny. Because half of the people on here are NEETS who do nothing. I'd be concerned about them instead.
Yeah NEETs are pretty dangerous, what with their sitting around and playing video games while they shitpost on the internet all day.
I'm just saying, I don't have a mental condition. Put that mirror down.
You really do have a mental condition.
If anything it's narcissism.

It's because society tells us that men who want to be involved in the lives of children are predators and rapists.
Well I actually want to help them be literate if they're struggling...
Pedophile

One of my second grade teachers was straight a male straight out of high school. It's a rarity but not unusual.
Shit, I'm just a big kid. I told the principal I collect Star Wars things. And Savannah wants to go out with me again to celebrate...everything is proceeding as I have foreseen.

$17 an hour. Nervous...as a 24 year old male it seems weird to be working with 2nd and 3rd graders...or is that just in my head? I mean there were male janitors working there...

Yes, and he tries to deny it, and say that's not what he really meant. We all know it was. Very childish.

Yeah but does she turn up?  Or shut you down at the last possible second . Not impressed till its happened.
Ok then, I'll post Saturday how it goes.

The fact that you're amazed that a person could possibly want to spend more time with you after having out once speaks volumes.
I can't be happy about it? It's hard to describe...this girl I'm not even thinking about sex with, for the first time in years. I just want to spend time with her because I think she's great. I know relationships don't happen instantly, I'm just going with the flow. And she's strikingly beautiful. Of course I'm ecstatic she wants to see me again.

Short but yes.

Is ice cream/walk in the park a good second date idea?
Well, maybe a diner too. Would offer to see Suicide Squad, but the reviews are so horrible. We'll see where the night takes us.

Sounds like it could be dialogue written for a character in the Hateful Eight.

One of the best original shows to come out in a while. It's like E.T. mixed with Stand by Me, mixed with the X-Files. And you should keep watching so you get to the part to where this song plays (unless you already have)

I just have to have contingencies though, obviously I'm hoping I get 2. But if I don't, then 1, then 3 as a last resort.

Yeah, but 1 and 3 seem like things you'd do while you're in between jobs.  I mean, would you want to put them on a resume?  Are they relevant to what you'd want to make a career out of?  Even if you don't want to end up teaching, "helped disabled kids and others" goes a lot further.
Yes, but in the meantime I need to work. Of course I want the para job, and I;m literally almost praying I do; but I'm not the only one interviewing for it. I can't just sit around and apply for things, so I need to do something too. Is it worth starting a full time job while searching for another? Will they even give me time off to schedule interviews so soon?

Option 2 sounds ideal.
Option 1 will have you killing yourself, plus a lot of assembly lines are terrible for your health, which is why people drop out.

Option 2 pays well, seems the least stressful, and would be best on your resume. Other places don't care that you've wasted your years assembling shit. But a lot will care that you've spent years helping people.  It's diverse, rewarding, and relevant.

Option 3 had you feeling like your life is going nowhere, and you get jack shit for it.
I just have to have contingencies though, obviously I'm hoping I get 2. But if I don't, then 1, then 3 as a last resort.
