Also what also is contributing to my problems:

Fear of driving on the highway, so only looking for a job that I can get to without it (I'm not dying in a car accident). This is something I just can't get over.

OCD when it comes to video games. Part of me doesn't want to get a job so I can have as much time to play the MCC as possible. Also worried about getting a negative K/D in the game so I want to be able to play as much as I can (yes, when video games have been your life from age 10-22 with no social life that's what happens, my stats in a game matter because I have no social life/ambitions/never had romance)

I just don't know anymore. All I can think about in the shower this morning is how meaningless life is, and how I'm one person out of seven billion that doesn't even matter, so why does it matter if I have a job or not? Meh...I don't know anymore. There's no passion for any career, no ambition, no dream job, just to be lazy and play video games. And that's why every day I think of 'that'.

Marijuana never being legalized, gay marriage being fully legalized, harsher prison sentences.
Interesting. Why are you against marijuana legalization?
I don't know, maybe I'm just using my own personal bias because I personally would never use it. I just think things would get out of hand fast if it was fully legalized, and maybe it's not in someone's best interest to start using it( then again you can say the same about about alcohol and tobacco) I'm a registered Democrat though...this is why I'm confused politically haha.

Have you at least had any interviews yet?
1. Newsroom assistant for newspaper publishing (what I really wanted) 2. Stop and shop (lel) 3. substitute teaching
What would you be doing as a newsroom assistant? Checking historical facts?
I don't even know, the guy barely explained it to me and that was two months ago anyways.

Why would you want to let any time pass? Get out there and look for a job. You'll be able to get some work experience while simulatenously looking for something better. No one is stopping you from looking for another job while working.
I was hired for stop and shop and did complete the training but I quit after one day. It made me miserable that I was going to be bagging groceries with a college degree.

Zero.

What you should have been doing was job hunting while you were still in school.
I know, and I should have gotten an internship. I didn't do either and it cost me, but I can't go back in time.

Gaming / Re: 'Warlord' is Halo 2 Anniversary's final map
« on: October 07, 2014, 11:38:40 AM »
Some interesting little tidbits today from IGN:

-We asked and are awaiting confirmation on whether or not Master Chief Collection will support digital pre-ordering/pre-loading. (I assume it will have pre-loading, I for one want to get it digitally and play as early as possible without going to a midnight release)

-Halo 3 and Halo 4 make use of the Xbox One controller's impulse triggers out of the box (we experienced it!), and Halo: CE and Halo 2 will have that functionality added in via a game update shortly after release.

-The Scorpion tank still lives in the Coagulation Anniversary remake, but you have to turn it on in Forge (more on all of that later this month).

-In classic Halo 2 multiplayer, the Ghost's fuel tank could be shot, causing the Ghost to explode. This is one little detail that didn't carry over to the Halo 2-emulating Xbox One engine that runs the six Anniversary maps.

-It took a lot of work to make Halo 2 feel right. In fact, "We had to get Havok to recreate aspects of the original physics code used for Halo 2," 343 told us.

-Halo: CE Anniversary's Kinect features are not supported in MCC.

-Halo: CE's version of Blood Gulch is the original Xbox version, not the Halo PC version that included the Banshee by default.

-For those of you who like to start message board wars over such things, let's get this out of the way: Halo 2's campaign isn't quiiiiiiite 1080p. Due to running the original graphics engine and the Xbox One-ified Anniversary graphics engine simultaneously and the original Halo 2 audio engine and remastered Anniversary audio engine simultaneously, Halo 2's campaign does run at 60fps but, resolution-wise, clocks in at 1328x1080. Here's an explanation from 343 executive producer Dan Ayoub: “During development we were really pleased with the way the engine and buffer allowed us to switch instantly between classic and Anniversary engines that are running simultaneously – however that, as you might expect, put a hit on resolution. The campaign of Halo 2: Anniversary looked fantastic at 720p with the level of detail and clarity it gave us, but like every other aspect of the game and tech, we wanted to push it further.  So in the last weeks of development, our teams were able to meet a stretch goal and the campaign of Halo 2: Anniversary now runs 60 fps at a crisp resolution of 1328x1080, which is a significant and meaningful boost in image quality we think fans are really going to appreciate. All of the other games across the entire package of The Master Chief Collection run 60 fps at 1920x1080 native.”

Like Max said, Netflix's own original series House of Cards. Also Mad Men, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and Parks and Recreations for shows.

For movies: The Hunt for Red October, Patriot Games, Clear and Present Danger, Reservoir Dogs, Crimson Tide, The Fifth Element.

Here it is folks. Their first album in five years since 2009's Black Ice, Rock or Bust will be releasing on Dec. 2nd this year. This is also their first album in forty years that will not be featuring Malcom Young, who had to retire from the band due to dementia. inb4 people say all their songs sound the same, that's the point. They have never strayed from their signature style to simply sell unlike some other rock bands.

Before I settle for any job. And I mean any, minimum wage included. Right now I looking to do volunteer work because I don't need money as I still live with my parents. Eight months? Definitely a year I think. It's month five and I'm already getting more anxious as each day passes. For those that don't know, I recently graduated college. Problem is time is flying by while I do nothing and it feels like I'm wasting my life. I went from graduating college to thinking about how meaningless life is in the shower everyday.

I think I'm going to pass. Since August I have bought Metro Redux, Destiny (lol), Shadow of Mordor, and Forza Horizon. Love the Alien universe though.
I see. How is Forza Horizon 2?
It has some pretty impressive visuals. I've only been playing it in small doses, but it is fun for when I want to just drive around and relax. You definitely won't run out of things to do. I'm more of a casual player when it comes to racing games though.

Went to my interview for a stupid substitute teacher position, beat Shadow of Mordor, ran for two miles on the treadmill, and now I'm watching the Seahawks Redskins game because I'm bored. And at 11:30 it's time for the Colbert Report. And happy birthday!

I think I'm getting too familiar with anxiety
I hear you Goji...I was always pretty much that way, still am. Was always to afraid to speak up in class even when I knew the answer. I somewhat made up for it my senior year by being the person that participated the most in discussion for my Cold War seminar, so that was a small victory.
