The Flood / Re: Did you watch Obama on the Colbert Report?
« on: December 09, 2014, 07:58:48 PM »
Yes. Sad to see the Report ending next week. Hopefully Steven will live up to expectations on the Late Show.
How show is ending? I never kept up with it, but I liked the stuff I did see from it. I personally prefer Jon Stewart, I think he is funnier.
Thursday of next week it will be ending after being on the air since 2005.

Gaming / Re: What games have you been playing lately?
« on: December 09, 2014, 07:52:34 PM »
Everything I have been playing has been giving me a headache. I think I'm just tired of gaming in general, or need to lower my expectations for future releases. MCC was good for a month for nostalgia purposes, but I've played Halo 1 and 2 to death growing up already, and it's not fun when you're friends don't play with you anymore. Looking forward to experiencing something fresh with the Halo 5 beta.

Did they do that purposefully, or is it a bug? It is difficult to believe...

22 and never been with a woman, basically inexperienced. Don't really care anymore...all I care about is working, that is the only purpose in life as far as I'm concerned. Now if I could only actually find work...

The Flood / Re: Do you have a job?

Tues, Weds, Thurs, Friday. $13ph, 5:30-9:30, being a waiter at a Turkish Cafe. It's great, kinda fun and challenging. Let's see how I go,
That's actually really good for a waiter...for my manufacturing job I only made $16 an hour. Guess they're definitely not a chain restaurant then and can pay you that much.

Sounds like something a 14 year old would care about. Checks profile...yup.

You'll end up like me sooner or later, which is not good. I did not have my first job until I was 21 because of my lacking social skills and motivation. Trust me, you do not want to go down that route, it will make things even harder in the future. I wasn't good at math either, so I chose a shitty liberal arts major in college and I'm paying for it now. Learn programming, HTML, Computer Science, IT, Business...anything but saying you want to be a writer for a game developer, because there's a slim chance of that.

And math isn't that hard. I failed math in high school but aced my college math classes because I actually practiced and studied instead of playing video games.

Scrap Dustiny 2 and start the Marathon remake. Fire Deej. Re-hire Marty and Staten.

I cant think of a work that id like.

Its one of the causes of my depression.
Yeah, well you're going to fall into a trap sooner or later when you have to do something. Take it from me, I've gone seven months of actively trying to find a job.

I think it will be fun overall. I don't know why, but when I watch footage of it, it somehow reminds me of Republic Commando. The Spartans just seem a lot bulkier this time around. Since H4 came out I always thought having a default thruster ability would be a good idea, as long as it wasn't abused.

Nowhere yet. Have to call back a nearby marketing firm tomorrow. Hopefully it won't suck, I don't want to work for less than $20 an hour with my degree.

None of them, there's a reason why South Park parodied that moron PewDiePie. And it is ridiculous that people like him get paid millions of dollars to do it; it's not a job, it's a hobby.

News / Re: Goldeneye 64 - Brute Review
« on: December 06, 2014, 07:42:42 PM »
I was only three when it came out, so didn't get to play it in its prime. There was a Goldeneye remake a few years back, but if they stuck to the Halo remake formula (toggling between old and new) it could have been so much better.

I think this is the kind of game I could tolerate not having a story. It's not trying to be the massive sci-fi opera that Destiny was trying to be. Is this a $60 release? If not then I could find enjoyment from roaming around planets (if it does come to Xbox)

I've had that jump glitch happen to me a few times in CE haha. And lol at people that take video games that seriously. At this point it seems counterproductive for 343i to even have that tournament.

Yeah, remember that little trick with my friends. It seems all the little easter egg achievements unlock for me, but I am so pissed after beating the level Reclaimer solo Legendary for my H4 run and it still hasn't unlocked...
