All I'm saying is there better be some fantastic revolutionary new BTB mode, perhaps at least 16 vs 16, space battles, etc... Or campaign has to be spectacular, because from playing the beta it felt like I was playing Crysis 2 from 2011. And we need firefight back as well. If we get the same old arena maps, and the standard 8vs8 it just won't feel current gen even with the graphics.

Already did. Can't remember the last time I started a morning without one. Needless to say, I think it would be very hard for me to quit.

Leave the ending ambiguous so a sequel trilogy can be made.

If I get a job before I turn 23 in April I will be. Interview tomorrow for Business Writer for IT/Software company. If I'm actually doing something constructive I will be. If I find a gf before I turn 23 I will be. When I see The Force Awakens I know I will be.

I imagine Chief went AWOL to try and locate Halsey to resurrect Cortana, so that will be his journey (Also ties in the story of Spartan Ops).

Locke/Thel's story seems quite obvious.
And imagine Halsey somehow gets killed while he is attempting to do that...the only chance to bring back Cortana and the creator of the Spartan II program, as well as the closest thing he's ever had to a mother...gone.

Becoming a Specrte. Also being introduced to a new universe and being surprised. I was freaked out by the Husks on Eden Prime. Also, some beautiful environments. Noveria is one of the best snowy landscapes in my opinion, up there with AoTCR. Damn, this thread has me thinking about how much I want a Mass Effect trilogy port for current gen.

Covenant and Prometheans again because 343i doesn't want to take risks, and wants to draw the story out for at least three more games. We won't get the return of the Precursors/Flood or find the remaining Forerunners.

Storm Cove-, ahem, Covenant, start using that element from Nightfall on outer colonies.
The latter is impossible, did you even watch Nightfall?
Yes, I watched all of it. And who's to say there's still some of it out there stashed away in another location? Since we didn't find out what it actually was in Nightfall I think it's safe to say it will appear in future media.

Releasing in August? According to Barnes and Noble it is. Unless this is just a placeholder.

http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/the-art-of-halo-5-insight-editions/1121108029?ean=9781608876495

If it is correct, maybe that means a September Halo release for the first time in five years?

And it feels like it was just yesterday. A year into Halo 2, Star Wars Battlefront II, Revenge of the Sith, and the 360 released in December. Holy shit, the 360 will be a decade old. That does make me feel old.

Have Netflix. I find streams for any other movies/TV I want to watch. Watched all of Game of Thrones that way. If you're lucky you can find a good stream that's HD.

A huge one that always bothers me when I start Arrival/Sierra 117. How were Johnson and Miranda able to get back to Earth faster than the Forerunner Dreadnought? Not only that, but make it to the Crow's Nest and set up operations there. It seems like they've been there for quite some time. What ship did they take? How is it faster than the technologically superior Forerunners? Are Dreadnoughts just really slow in slipspace? How long was Chief laying in the jungle before Johnson and his search party found him? Would be nice to see a comic addressing some of this.
I recently played through Halo 3 and was wondering the same things when I was playing on those levels.

Halo 3 takes place like 3 months after Halo 2. Read the uprising comics to see what happened between 2 and 3 with the chief.
But it just doesn't make sense...how is it possible it would take the Dreadnought that long to get to Earth from High Charity  which was near Delta Halo? And that is traveling through slipspace...

"If it isn't one of ours, shoot it"- Lord Hord

That is literally the last scene of Halo 2, and the Dreadnought has already entered Earth's atmosphere.

The Flood / Re: How successful do you think you will be?
« on: January 22, 2015, 03:38:08 PM »
I will be 23 in two months. I've spent eight months (almost nine) after graduating college being unemployed. I made a huge mistake choosing a shitty liberal arts major years ago and paying for it. I don't have enough money to get a master's degree. I've been applying to Gamestop and Kmart and now my standards have dropped so low that I would consider myself successful to work shit minimum wage jobs because there's nothing else I can do. I used to think I would be successful and have an important job just because I had any college degree. How wrong I was...

Don't give up hope mate, climb back up the ladder. You can do it
Nah, there's nothing I can do, trust me I have been searching for 9 months and submitted 70+ applications with thoughtfully written cover letters. The most I can hope for is to work in retail, eventually become an assistant manager, and then maybe a manager. All I can do with my degree is teach, which I can't even do now without going back to school for another 2 years and I don't want to do that.
did you get an english degree without a teaching certification or something? try getting a job at an insurance company like geico.. i hear they aren't too picky with hiring and they're good about giving you the hours you need with good pay

I've done a lot of research about working with insurance and read employee reviews, and I would have to say you are misinformed. The reason why they are not picky is because it is terrible and there isn't a high retention rate. First of all, they make you pay for the classes you need to take to get an insurance license. Secondly, it is all commission. You do not get paid unless you make a sale. Sometimes there might be a base salary when you are just starting out. Third, it is all cold-calling to find customers. Some places even have you fill out a book of everyone you know and have you try to make them switch over to their insurance. I am not a sales person by any means, and to mean it sounds like a terrible job where the employees are expendable.
