Maybe I should stop going out with the older girls, but it just seems to keep happening. I don't want to go out with someone who is younger than I am either. Now maybe I'm starting to realize girls around my age or even two years older expect a guy they meet to be successful and have everything together even if they do not. It seems like I can't take things slow even though I tried my best with her to do that. I tried not to over text, play things cool, etc... Who knows what I did wrong. I dressed up on our second date while she wore a sweatshirt, maybe that was a sign, but I just can't seem to pick up on them. Again, who knows...there were some moments of awkward silence when we were walking around town. I was tired and thinking of what to say. Our first date went so well and I was energetic and flirty with her.
I have a hard time letting pretty women go, even if I only met her twice. Maybe I can't be in a relationship again, first one didn't end well. She was a pretty blonde that liked classic rock and had good taste in literature. Of course I was excited. I must have been my usual awkward pushy self and ruined it somehow, just like the last time.

My interview was last Friday. They gave me an assignment that was to summarize an article about a new combat rescue helicopter being designed by Sikorsky (it is going to replace the Pave Hawk). Anyways, I've waited a week which seems reasonable, and I am going to call Monday right when I get home from work. Good idea or too soon? I know it varies for employers. For an interview I had with an IT job it took me a month to get the call for a second interview, and I did not call.

Another tip:
Don't be too emotional when with her. Laugh and be warm and kind and all that, but don't convey too much emotion.. And don't spill the beans on your life. Let her talk the majority.

She was chasing me. I didn't text after her first date, she did. And even before that after not texting her, she said hey to see what I was doing. I didn't text after our first date, I waited until this Wednesday because I usually like to plan what I'm doing for the weekends around the middle of the week.

I thought the second date went well. We saw a movie, I did the arm around her cliche. Then we walked around town and got ice cream and chatted. At the end of the date I said I'd let her know about next weekend. She said sure and hugged me. Well yesterday I texted at 8 at night saying hey what's up...and nothing. And then I was a drunken idiot so I texted again at 4 today asking if she wanted to go hiking saturday.
