Since when were people claiming that racism was dead?
Anyone that claims that racism is dead in their country is lying through their teeth.
I see it on social media. All these recent protests have just been "pulling the race card"...whatever that means.

Nah man. A second season where the main characters aren't even there?
I'll pass.
wat Season 1 started and concluded in one season. As will every season, I guess.

Anyone else watching tonight? I just re-watched the first series and am really looking forward to this one even though the first is going to be really tough to compare to. Going to be able to watch on tv because there's a free HBO preview this week.
If you haven't seen season 1, you can still watch this one. It's a separate storyline and I would highly recommend it.

Hard to believe they killed off such a great character for seemingly no reason. I heard that there was an actor who was kind of upset about being killed off, and if it was Barristan, I couldn't blame him at all.

It's immensely slow with almost no action, and that includes the witty dialog between certain characters. Cersei's my favorite, and I really love how bitchy she is to Margaery. Sam shouldn't even be in the book, and Arya's scenes are basically the same thing repeated over and over. I totally get that he's solidifying the major characters and setting up the narrative for drastic change to come. I really get it. But his 1-3 are very dynamic and suspenseful; I feel none of that here.
Book 5 isn't much better, unfortunately, and both have pretty shitty endings imo. It's definitely going to payoff with all this important setup for the remainder of the series.

100% agree. Probably our most ridiculous policy.

Don't worry Mordo I'm sure we can expect more epic Daenerys speeches about when she comes to Westeros and changes everything.

One of the more big things to happen was when Deej was running a contest to win a shirt, apparently Ken cheated and got a group to vote for him on alts, the mythic members did the same after with another contest member. It ended with Deej cutting the shirt in half and sending them each a half.
lmao I remember that. The other guy found out about that and got the Mythic group to vote for him.

If the Faith's Champion ends up being Lancel or Brienne.

That being said, if the Faith's champion isn't the Hound, who else is it going to be? Lancel lmao?
I would honestly love to see show-Lancel's face smashed in...such a terrible character.

It once was a quality show?
Beautiful sets and props. Most of the actors are very talented while the show had the largest cast on television. Great choreography. Good writing and direction that stayed true to source material that the author considered unadaptable. It could be a bit silly at times but people that say it was bad never have any legitimate points.

...Game of Thrones (2011-2014).
I'm going to miss the quality show that once was. I suppose I'm just going to have to deal with suspending my disbelief every episode and suffering with one-dimensional characters.

ama me anything
What is it about Bruce Lee that you admire.
Curious because he's a famous person that I really know nothing about
Aside from being a legendary martial artist and influential actor and filmmaker, I mostly admire his level of determination. He was easily one of the greatest athletes who has ever existed which came from hours of doing all different kinds of training every day.
