i can't think of anything noteworthy tbh; pretty consistently mediocre across all subjects.
i've always tended to score higher in math on standardized tests and lower in english, but oddly i'd consider myself more of a "right-brained" type person. in general, courses i did the best in tended to require the least amount of time investment, and courses i did the worst in tended to require the biggest time investment. 195

Not a good idea at all. but it’s inevitable 197

but yeah, porn will be the major driver of this industry 198
The Flood / Re: The Market Bubble« on: February 01, 2021, 02:55:47 PM »IIRC, Melvin Capital already said they closed out so I don’t know who they’re thinking us still doubling down.they think that Melvin lied to make everyone panic sell this is plausibly true but it’s a gamble I think the main reason people keep saying it’s a lie is because they’re in over their heads and want to believe it’s a lie dangerous times 199
The Flood / Re: The Market Bubble« on: February 01, 2021, 02:47:00 PM »You guys have life savings? I thought the absolute vast majority are living paycheck to paycheck assuming of course that you did not lose your job due to the pandemic and are waiting for that stimulus cheque.I do but I’m in a pretty fortunate position, compared to a lot of people. But yeah, that’s all the more reason not to yolo money at meme stonks based on Reddit and tiktok’s advice. 200
The Flood / Re: The Market Bubble« on: February 01, 2021, 12:10:36 PM »The people investing don't have anything so they can't lose anything. This narrative is really toxic for retail, considering how detached from reality and based on conjecture it is. We don’t know what the current short interest is and we don’t know whether the squeeze will happen. Retail is a small fish now, and even then I saw someone claiming that there were more people selling than buying last week. The fact of the matter is: people throwing their life savings at this price do have something to lose, and if it comes to that you’re not sticking it to billionaires, you’re donating to them. Personally I have shares and will hold, but I’d hate to see people on here lose money on the advice of a mob of novices. 201

An event like this definitely needs to set one for future reference should American politics continue to become more unhinged in the future. What do you think about the argument against impeaching before an investigation? 209
Serious / Re: Donald Trump impeached (again)« on: January 14, 2021, 12:47:57 PM »probably wishful thinking thoughYeah. I thought it was going to happen this time too but after the underwhelming GOP vote yesterday, hearing about Lindsay Graham calling up other Republican Senators to acquit while on Trump’s jet, and Mitch still being undecided, I have low hopes. I’m guessing it might end up being Mitt and a few others at best. 210
