I think this ending is poorly acted compared to the one in the film. I also don't think the sequels were terrible as they were fun films to watch, and I think are great to showcase the action kind of film with an anti-hero surviving otherwise dangerous situations.

I'd rather change it to

"A videogame should be able to stand up on its design choices to the fullest possible achievable extent of the developer, and the publisher without diminishing, swaying nor lying about the promised quality, and at the same time taking serious consideration of the useful community feedback."

It's more like that I have this thread to think over things or research them. So don't expect me to reply unless I need further elaboration on what is given.

i thought my suggestion was pretty good but senpais never notice me  :'(

Can't say it better than that.

So, if I have an Xbox One and I own the games then I can choose to stream them to a PC... This implies I'd be willing to throw money on an Xbox One to get the few games shown on that ad. Lol.

Then let the terrorists kill all of Europe if they find themselves strong and mighty with weapons.

947
Can't someone who runs off and contributes to a terrorist organization be persecuted for terrorism-related crimes, or crimes of war, depending on the various cases? What's the point of taking the citizenship from someone that you will put on the chair or in Guantanamo anyway?

Septagon / Sep7agon R&D
« on: January 31, 2015, 10:23:37 PM »
The development of Sep7agon is continuing, so I felt like creating a main suggestion thread for me to work on. (I do check around the forums for other threads, still) However, think of this as the main line of getting to tell me an improvement on the website's design, structure and overall image for me to research upon.

I would suggest to hold the following things in mind before venturing in this thread;
  • I will be sharing design concepts. None of these are samples, or views of possible applications on Sep7agon, but rather the research involved into getting somewhere meaningful.
  • Suggestions are welcome to be of any kind relevant with the design, and the website structure. Without restriction, as long they are sensible and meaningful ones.
  • Before writing a suggestion for my own research then please consider (a) Does this idea build onto a concept from Bungie.old? (b) Have I seen this idea applied somewhere else, if so where?

Don't all them, in some way, die? If that's the case then I am going to die, no matter the choice.

951
So, you will just go on all over the internet and police arguments?

I'd just rather people not make such statements, if they aren't in a position to adequately defend them.

Serious / Re: What if Christianity didn't exist?
« on: January 31, 2015, 09:38:14 PM »
There were different kind of prophets at the time. Christianity quickly gained an advantage due to its radical view of excluding other deities, and beliefs.

I am not sure whether you intend to point Christianity as the main culprit of the dark ages. That's essentially wrong, as at the time Christianity was mainly a political tool to ensure who is a friend, and who wasn't. Traders would convert to Christianity to be able to trade with others in the mediterranean. The fall of the Roman empire is also more due to a huge number of economical, military and societal factors where Christians were the last concern of that sprawling empire.

I believe this says enough.

Serious / Re: Are we really free to protest?
« on: January 31, 2015, 09:32:49 PM »
The whole point of protests is to allow the people to express problems by peaceful gatherings to bring up an issue into evidence. However, such gatherings of people can also prove a serious threat for the security of the people involved themselves. The idea is that you have police monitor the situation, and in case something goes out of hand and a protest turns into a riot is quenched.

Where the serious issue is on who, and why uses a protest as a political tool. For example; in Greece it is well-known that certain people involved in causing the riots have close ties with certain parties to induce violence from an otherwise peaceful protest. Perhaps, since inciting a riot from a protest isn't a terribly hard thing to do. (Especially when the issue is a grave one)

On whether actual protesting should be allowed to the general populace is because the basis of a democracy consists on expression your own opinions, and concerns. Unlike an autocracy, or other systems that do view such an expression as a threat (since the decision-making and awareness rests on the ruler(s)) a driving factor behind a democracy stems from the ability of people being able to express themselves.

That's also why it's also frowned upon when a peaceful protest is reprimanded by various police forces. Who later may proceed to do some damage control at various lengths with different degrees of success.

Besides the clear potential as a Serious thread, and casting aside the brief, but yet grammatically incorrect analysis of nazism. I can't see the actual worth of this thread in discussion value. I'll lock this in hopes that the OP will be edited to represent a discussion, and not a wikipedia article.

The Flood / Re: Halo Archive got a new website!
« on: January 31, 2015, 06:19:32 AM »
You don't have to touch the database at all to integrate the design with the forums. One is independent of the other. I also mention the dark grey weird color choice in my post in some manner. However, I still think it's terrible, the design is all over the place.

I consider the blog section the worst part, actually... That white on dark grey is jarring. And I guess if you really want to critique the partners section, then yeah, the fonts are odd. But it's not that bad (and not as bad as their spacing and display of the partner images without some kind of background element support).

And IDK if I would be too harsh about the lack of integration with the forums. Proboards are anal about giving your your database if you want to move, so their options might be limited.
