Yeah, I am aware.

Seriously though it's even annoying on a computer.

Someone played with the code of the navbar without understanding it properly.

Also, why has the notification icon randomly moved to the left a little? It used to be at the bottom right corner of my avatar.

I know, it was more of an experiment rather than a success. To be honest, it bothers me how the notification button is handled altogether, and I am scrapping improvements over time as I work. I just didn't release anything yet because my studies are keeping me busy.

The entire goddamn navbar is glitchy as hell and frankly kind of terrible.

We won't get themed forums anytime soon.

I agree, whoever designed this was a true professional. They applied some interesting trends, and at the same time making their less-able bosses agree with the design.

Or that he claims for the 100th time that it's the last MGS title he'll work on.

I hear it's rumored that Venom Snake might be Punished Snake in disguise. Don't tell anyone though.

Also, I'd be both amused and furious if Kojima's special message was that he was cancelling the game.

Every boss in Dark Souls.

I wonder whether or not true freedom is something that Russia could handle.

Do you think Russia's ever been politically free?

I honestly can't remember any period in history where it has.

Sigh. What are they doing? Don't they realize that resorting to such violence is literally plunging them back to the middle ages. That's all they want to do-- destroy, rape, and pillage meanwhile calling it an exploit for some twisted god who is pleased by such destruction and violence?

Probably they don't, the grunts probably don't either. Perhaps, they are all in their heads into smashing, killing and destroying until they either are happy with having little to destroy, or being broken and mutilated from the retaliation they have been tempting.

Maybe that's what they want. Just to die, and take the whole world with them into hell.

Because it's not simple to run a huge power like the US with many problems on the outside and on the inside, especially when it's a federation of ineffective democracies?

There are ups and downs. People come, people go. I still think that Bungie has talented people, it's just that (like I tend to think about San Andreas and Rockstar) is that they will never be capable of repeating the same kind of success. Especially seeing how the industry is going lately.

The worst part about reading this is the part with old bungie and how they and the xbl team worked together to create the modern day XBL.

Bungie is pretty much a shell of its former self now.

A set of collector's edition games and manuals... Who am I kidding, they are worthless. I just used to like the swag they came with.

Considering that nowadays time doesn't even go to actually properly finish the game. Sure, that makes sense.

It's time and money that companies aren't willing to spend if it saves them any cash.
Which is a pity, I enjoyed looking at them.

767
Elaborate.

I've noticed this weird UI glitch where there's still Weeb shit all over the place.

768
Constructive criticism is welcome.

Actually I'd like to lodge a complaint if you wouldn't mind reading it.

I had it fixed, that's why I was surprised for someone to say that it's broken once more.

Well, it was a known issue before the update.

770
So, have you guys resolved all of Sep7agon's design issues yet?

771
So? Something we keep in mind is that people will want to modify their experience with the forum. There's no reason to frown on that kind of action. It should actually be supported. The design was made with that in mind, also.

>Fucks up the forum for other users just so he can try to get people to download his shitty extension

I learned that if a multiplayer game makes you do that then it's toxic, and it's better to not play it anymore.

Rage ensued, I fucking lost my shit and just fucking tossed my controller against the wall going around in circles cursing like a sailor for a good 2 hours. I was pissed.

Reminds me when I was playing Halo: Reach and I went for the sniper. Made a kill, and a person betrayed me. I switched off my console. That was also the last time I played Halo: Reach.

So, where's my execution?

Gaming / Re: Why aren't video game manuals awesome like they used to be?
« on: February 24, 2015, 11:20:32 PM »
Most people would skim through a manual. The idea is that you make your game accessible, so it phases out the manual's necessity. (Plus considering the time, monetary and talent cost of writing a manual...) Instead, I think a manual should rather be used as a place to host some lore, or back story.

I remember why, something about being green or people didn't read them, I was one of the ones who read the manuals, heck I read the halo manuals more than I played those gaymes

They do. Call of Duty games don't, but I don't think the average IQ involved in playing Call of Duty considers the ability to read a few pages.

Damn I didn't even know they included manuals anymore. I thought they just phased them out entirely.

Gaming / Why aren't video game manuals awesome like they used to be?

I am one of those few people who actually read the manuals, just because they featured some back story, list the features, and some other information about the game's world. What do you think of video game manuals now? Do they serve a purpose? Should a manual offer some light on the back story? Should the manual not even be given with the game anymore?
