I think it's fair if you don't want to provide a service to someone. The businesses that are doing this recklessly or too often will be the ones to go south or have small amounts of income.

I don't see anything wrong with that. Why should everything that happens on B.net be used as a tool against the users still there? Honestly, it's getting annoying. Move on. Nobody here is better than someone else or any other community.

You won't with that attitude. You guys are weird. Why would you want to suck your own dick?
Because we haven't been able to find someone else willing to.

Yeah, if you see something of this sort then it's an issue easily resolving by hard refresh. Now, this happens on Sep7agon for multiple reasons, but essentially it's just the chaos of how our forum software works. (Loads things upon loading things, especially with Javascript-- you probably loaded four versions of jQuery to see this post)
Now, the issue is that I had to load a version because the one some modules we use happen to use outdated ones, and the way everything is loaded is well, a hit-or-miss. (Notice why it takes some extra moments for the head bar to load? It's the result of me fighting with the alerts system to make it work)
The new head bar version should take care of well, what makes it worse due to my code, but for everything else I don't have any specific time or plan yet.

That kind of work tires your muscles, not your mind or sanity. Painting apartments, scrubbing toilets, and whatever other odd job I could think of is hard labor.

See, as I said, the mechanics behind a ban are simple, but dealing with rule-breaking and applying penalties to users has a human factor in it that makes it complicated, and stressful. I've used SMF before, unless Cheat made it harder that it should be, it shouldn't be that hard.

It is rather complicated, and the moderators don't simply have to fill the neat form and click submit. There's much more involved into applying penalties on Sep7agon, and I think it's better for a Ninja to talk about this. Please. How hard can it possibly be to decide to ban somebody?

To be honest, as an admin (mainly a developer) I feel that my work here is less stressing than what decisions the moderation goes through, and the time they invest into their work.

Only humans are capable of having rights because they are the only ones that possess conscience, form societies and generally work. However, I think that unnecessary abuse or maltreatment of animals shouldn't be there. Animals should be respected as living beings, but that shouldn't be treated as a right for an animal. Why are you against animal rights, exactly?
