Greece does spend a lot of money in its military, but that's because Greece is a geopolitical hotspot. The mandatory military service, and the overall national and cultural feeling does back up the need to at least have a notable military strength and presence in the area.
It kinda feels that Greece is the closest thing to a democracy when your neighbors are Turkey, Egypt, Syria, Russia and ISIS is right next door, and Ukraine isn't exactly far away.
The issue is that the Greek governments so far were terrible at negotiating. I do really hope that the new government will secure and improve diplomatic relations especially with Albania, FYROM (Macedonia), Russia and especially Turkey. Since they are all important nations involved into making the most out of Greece's position.
Greece is also covered by the US nuclear umbrella, something that most people don't talk about nowadays. Plus, I do really doubt if anyone launched a nuclear attack to Athens that the US would actually risk American soil in retaliating. (Deterrence is such a fun thing!)
Now, I am mentioning deterrence because Greece has been in an arms race and show-off race with Turkey for quite a while, and a series of micro incidents, and quite often Greek troops and Turkish ones like to tease each other at the borders, whether on ground, sea and air.

I feel you, I do dislike most Zelda games outside of the original Legend of Zelda. It's one of those either love or hate franchises.

I would download it... If I had an Xbox One. They are still too expensive for me.

Halo 5's campaign will be about Master Chief fighting mechas in the desert of some planet while the in-game dialogue simply screams "BUY THE BOOKS!" and it will be the first Halo game to have a character break the fourth wall. Spoiler Agent Locke I AM TIRED OF THESE MOTHERFUCKING PLOTHOLES IN THIS MOTHERFUCKING GAME!

I always liked the appearance of Anubis in Zone of Enders. The mecha itself is quite well designed to appear like some sort of Egyptian God-mecha hybrid, and it gives quite an imposing feeling that you would have when you are met with a figure like Anubis, somewhat shrouded in mysticism, and darkness, but looking elegant during fights. I think that in all games I have played, no other mecha has given me this feeling during the game. It's also worth mentioning that all mechas in Zone of Enders appear to have a personality of their own (and not just extending the one of their pilot's) that makes it more intriguing than just being a device of war.

It's confirmed, we're getting closer to the Fallout world. We're going to die from a thermonuclear war by 2077 while we drive our nuclear-powered cars.

I'll have to do some research on how to make an improved version of this idea. It's not the kind of feature I want to rush in, though, but it seems something quite essential in the long term.

That's another remarkable failure in an ongoing bloody chapter where the West was involved. IS actually existed back during Saddam Hussein's rule, and really became powerful due to Syrian support. So you can thank Assad for IS.

I think that PC gaming is superior only when money, and time is invested into it. Unlike consoles, a store-bought PC is usually more expensive, and sometimes riddled with stupid software (that ultimately affect performance) or sub-optimal hardware that was simply put together for flashy ad numbers when it goes on sale.
Valve aims to challenge that with Steam machines, but I really doubt that people who are fixed around enjoying gaming on consoles by sitting on a sofa with a controller with flip to PC-based gaming. Let's face it, this industry profiteers quite well from software sales on consoles that are exclusive clubs for those who own those consoles, and whoever obtains a license to release games on it.
A good solution are indie games and their integration into the console markets. Since the AAA production type that takes years is not as optimal as it used to be, and games generally sacrifice some quality to get released, it feels that industry might shift into smaller studios that produce games tailored to a certain player base.
Then you have mobile, but that market is over saturated with shit.

Did the war actually improve anything for the powers involved in the war, or the Iraqi people? I am not against conflict, but it seems that this war has costed human talent, and resources that exceed the regional interests in the area. All these years more and more terrorism bred simply due to the West's heavy influence in the area.
And now there's ISIS. When will it end?

Where I live there isn't much of a sidewalk. Every time I drive, I risk hitting someone who is careless, or their pet, or a stray animal. Perhaps, I might also accidentally hit the douche with the motorcycle who narrowly surpasses me on either side. A majority of them where? I've never seen a place where the streets are all boxed in between two vertical walls. That sounds more like an alley.

That's why I generalize to all sorts of choice awards. But when I was a kid nobody asked me. You only get to vote in the kids choice awards if you're a kid. Are you a kid?

I dislike how in most "choice" type of awards nobody asks my opinion, and the people whose opinion counts is usually backed with swag related to what they chose. Why can't I also get some swag? Isn't my opinion enough for sempai?
