Our current logo and menu font is Play and that's a sans-serif font. Our body font is Arial (which is often paired with Century Gothic, and it was all the rage a couple of years ago) so Cheat's not wrong to love this font with Arial. However, I chose Play because it looks more modern, but at the same time it has a distinct look that fits well with Arial.

The only reason why I went with Century Gothic as the font is because Cheat loves that font. He wants everything to be like that, otherwise I would have gone with a completely different font.

Now, I'll be clear that the reason the new Sep7agon logo was reversed, and the color it has, and why it appears like that in all the various videos and images since its conception is because it's Sep7agon's style.

So taking the heptagon and turning it green, using a different font, a completely horrendous kerning and an all-caps on bars that are mixed case is simply silly. It just goes against Sep7agon's style.

I just strongly suggest not to use this nameplate or any nameplate or form of the logo that is modified outside from the original form, colors, kerning, and whatever else that strays it from what it is. So, if you want to propose a nameplate design for that kind of role you should take a different approach, and I am sure that people here will have solid ideas.

PS: I am also working on a style guideline for Sep7agon, and I plan it on having it done soon with the updated header for the sake of consistency and style.

Serious / Re: Defending the Patriarchy and destroying Feminism
« on: April 04, 2015, 05:31:48 PM »
Well, I do like her views more than what circle jerks feminisms tend to create. (They also appear to me as rude; imposing their will on you as a woman, because you have to agree to them in their view) and I think also Paglia is closer to the conflict theory than what's going on with current feminism.

Also from personal experience I'd agree that it's more about being predisposed from society and cultural traits into certain gender roles rather than it being purposeful oppression. However, the way that society wants to put people in a line, and culture usually tends to entice people to do that is what can be misunderstood as oppression.

And what's creepy about this is that everyone manifests these traits, some more stronger than others.

If I were to ever describe myself as a feminist, then it could only ever be in the likeness of Paglia.

Honestly, if they are caught upholding such extreme beliefs and breaking the law then, if it were for me they should get some batons on the skull. A few hits might fix the problem. You know, best case they get to meet their god.

If it were up to me they'd be arrested but you know freedom of speech and whatnot. People can say what they want even if it offends you.

Who knows, certainly if they keep doing this then they will just kill themselves in the process with or without disease.

There's nothing we can avoid. These people won't be taken prisoner. They won't compromise.

They've proven this already.

I'd rather believe that more deaths should be avoided on either side. The disease would be a good timing to come up with some sort of compromise for the exchange of medicines, and care. If they want to ditch a helping hand, and not turn their criminals to justice over dying for their beliefs then they can as well rot in the desert.

But it's humane to bomb and shoot them?

Of a disease does most of our job for us, then great. Because you're not dragging thousands of terrorists into court to jail them. These people need to be exterminated.

It's one thing to hold some fancy signs, and another to abuse other people, or to be a terrorist.

They do act on it.

No, but because it would be inhumane to let them be killed by such a disease. They should be also put into trial for their war crimes. I do believe that would be a better outcome than more deaths.

So they can continue their mission of destroying the world?

No, I don't, but I don't necessarily see the need to make a fuss about their belief, unless they explicitly act upon it.

Unless you're saying you agree with them.

No, I just do not really share my more controversial beliefs because one too many people get upset.

It's people like you that give these people the freedom to destroy our culture and our people.

Because the free world is built on the belief that you can say and believe whatever you want, and everyone has the right not to give a fuck.

Serious / Re: McDonald's franchise workers aren't getting raises
« on: April 03, 2015, 03:59:17 PM »
So, what you are telling me is that ancient Egyptian slaves pyramid laborers had better wage and extras than a McDonalds job?

idk what to say about mcdonalds, but the picture you added got me thinking, and if youre using that to make a funny little quip about slave labor its not entirely accurate (though i did get a chuckle out of it)

obviously the pyramids were built over a long period of time and, as such, the methodology was bound to change over time, but something ive recently stumbled across is the fact that pyramid builders werent slaves (on the whole.) instead, they were mostly skilled laborers, organized into teams (with funny names like the Drunkards of Mekaure) and employed on a rotating basis. the evidence shows that these laborers were compensated well, eating great prime beef and sleeping in special "dorms."

Serious / McDonald's franchise workers aren't getting raises
« on: April 03, 2015, 06:50:15 AM »
Quote
On Wednesday, McDonald's announced that starting this July, it will increase wages for the 90,000 workers who are directly employed by one of the company's restaurants. The plan is to bring the current hourly wage up by $1; the average McDonald's employee will make $9.90 by July and $10 by 2016. Benefits like paid vacation time will be available for employees who have worked for the company for more than a year.

The raise, however, only applies to employees of the actual restaurant. The 750,000 workers employed by franchises, which make up 90 percent of McDonald's restaurants, are not included in this wage hike.

Well, it makes sense to spread influence over to Africa. However, many places in Africa are full of warlords, militias, pirates and whatnot. Some communities are already muslim, so, does this offer anything to them but a further culling? Do they think that killing those Christians will somehow affect the ones in Europe?

I can't put myself in the scenario where I am in some silly village in Middle East. Honestly, I am not sure whether I would suicide, or be killed. Probably I'd pick either option in the heat of the moment.

Yes, in TDM you don't earn points by killing your enemy, but you earn points by killing your team-mates and planting flags of ONI on their corpses while t-bagging them for maximum effect. After the match, you will get a short clip of UNSC's flag waving and its anthem while your Spartan tears.

So does that mean Halo 5 is about team killing?

Pardon my rudeness, but I think it's just nerd cocktease passed as food until E3. I mean, what next, a screenshot of the HUD pointing against a rock and the rock appears friendly, and will the internet detectives go onto investigating the correlation of the rock with the Halo universe and everything therein?

That's a good question. Of which I've no apparent answer.
