Considerable? Good guy Gamestop? Not really. They are doing a humane thing. I don't see any reason for praise about something they should have been doing already in the first place.

All the opinions here are lacking the whole picture, and instead tackle the view from some really convenient angles whilst ignoring all the variables that come into play with such a huge issue. Doesn't really encourage me from investing time to realistically enter into the argument.

Studying for my bachelor's in an American institution in my town. Quite great, compared to the Greek state universities which are a huge mess.

Well, what I have come to realize a long time go is that any kind of group, and even a heavily diversified group, will always find the black sheep to hate upon. That's also one of the scariest things, as it sometimes, manages to keep together a number of people with different backgrounds with a certain ease.

So, the rule of the law now befalls onto deterrence? If someone wants to use the protests to cause serious trouble then I am not sure how effective a gun détente will be.

The Flood / Re: Worst movie you ever watched?« on: November 17, 2014, 06:03:56 AM »
I was forced into the theater by my friends that day. I paid the film's ticket price. The only solidarity I found was with the butter in the popcorn as the audience's brain was permanently damaged by that long road of twisted, disgusting and bad humor that appealed to the darkest areas of human stupidity. Each time the audience laughed, I merely hid my face with my hands.
Coincidentally a week or two after I became a goth. Go figure. On topic: Disaster Movie is the worst film I've ever seen. Not only does it suffer from virtually every flaw you can think of, it's also a parody/comedy, meaning that unlike most other awful movies, it doesn't get so bad that it becomes funny or amusing. 1461

There was this shark movie where they used stock clips to show the underwater scenes... My memory has erased its name, however.

Plato said that, and next thing that happened the Athenians built walls of wood around Athens thinking it can stop an entire enemy fleet from invading the city.
Stupidity isn't going to have me sweating blood anytime soon, so I think I'll give it a back seat ftm. 1464
The Flood / The worst disease out there, and there's no vaccine for it, and no cure!« on: November 16, 2014, 06:53:18 PM »
Stupidity, affects all people; all races, genders, ages, independently from access to food, water, heat, proper sanitation, technology and medicines. The first recorded case of stupidity was lost in time, and the earliest ones can easily be found in the oldest historical records.
This disease also affects both very, brilliantly intelligent people, and as well very unintelligent people at various times, rates and severity. Which can lead from mild physical or mental injury to severe ones, including death. Animals, including household pets have shown hints of stupidity, and similar results. Yet we are worried about ebola, the flu, and cancer. 1465

People support all sorts of things that they do not understand. Including some people in this thread. What's your point? Want people to scream "Oh, how dumb they are!" like a mob of angry peasants for your amusement?
