Could you update the OP with some photos of the game, description and so forth? It would be nice since it's in the News board now.

Which in turns means a more skilled or informed workforce, but at the same time it means that meritocracies will be more on the spot to differentiate your average skilled worker, from someone who is worth your time.
That's what happens when everyone goes to college. Before, only people who were generally wealthy went to college, now people who are poor can go to college through student loans. It's lowering the quality of the degree. Wouldn't be surprised if companies in the future will require at the minimum a Master's degree. 1362

That's against their philosophy. Which is one I also agree with, but realistically only few organizations can achieve it.
I wish they would just put a small ad up. 1364
The Flood / Re: Would you donate to Wikipedia?« on: December 09, 2014, 11:46:29 PM »
I think Wikipedia's role on the internet, and even day-to-day is important. However, I would leave the task of donating to organizations and individuals who can give a meaningful amount.

Serious / Re: In general, what kind of socio-political economy type do you prefer?« on: December 09, 2014, 11:22:31 PM »
I think you are correct; we are heavily encouraged to steer towards the ideologies of freedom, and democracy. However, the dramatic shift towards those systems occurred also because of long-term effects post the destruction from both the world war, and the second world war. It also has proven more reliable since it allows for great economic and social development whilst also retaining a large power to the sovereign.

It would be just a bureaucratic mess. So, maybe during this mess an uprising towards a dictatorship which then could lead to oligarchy or a monarchy could take place; but that's far fetched. Where establishing a monarchy, a royal line and nobles requires special conditions. Since most nations that are space faring have at least a decent appeal of a democratic or liberal system then it's even harder to look back towards an autocracy. So even if an empire is established it might be heavily reliant on a republic.
Sounds like quite a ride. 1367

Chances are that it's going to be a directorate, and if the amount of worlds is too big then it's going to be a representative government mainly based on local ones similar to the EU structure.

Septagon / Re: Any news of an app?« on: December 08, 2014, 09:36:43 AM »
There are plans for an improved version of the website's mobile version. An app was discussed briefly, but until the site is cleaned up and improved (for desktop, laptop, tablet, and mobile) it is not a priority.
Is there any news or plans for an app for this site? I personally don't like using tapatalk to come here, and find using Chrome and getting on here much easier. 1373
News / Re: Staff Update Discussion« on: December 08, 2014, 09:29:04 AM »
I would suggest to change the way the ranks are and distribute the staff better. First of all, the majority of the moderation staff should be Monitors, afterwards Ninjas, and then Master Ninjas. Secondly, inactive moderation members shouldn't be demoted unless they hold the rank of Master Ninja (which would require an active Master Ninja to keep the moderation in check) and instead set as "inactive" but nonetheless retain their colors.
Since you want to have a rotation of members then it's better to keep that rotation for Monitors, and instead move up the Monitors to Ninjas who have potential for a permanent position in the staff unless they are resigning. Moreso, an inactive monitor can be easily be swapped with someone else. Also limiting the amount of Monitors per rotation would be the same as what's happening right now with the monitors. 1374

The Flood / Re: A struggle with sex life, because I have none.« on: December 08, 2014, 03:56:08 AM »
That mentality is exactly what draws you back, and hence I say you have an issue with your confidence.
I personally think it's maybe I'm annoying? maybe theres bad aspects of me they don't like, I didn't say the issue was the women, It's mainly focus on me. Because I see lots of idiots out there who somehow always get girlfriends or boyfriends once they break up, and this is just painful... Because I get nothing.. I just find this all hard to understand and deal with. 1377
The Flood / Re: A struggle with sex life, because I have none.« on: December 08, 2014, 03:55:05 AM »
To me it seems that moving into an unknown community when he was 16 impaired his confidence because he was cast off in a wholly different community than what he was familiar, and comfortable with. I am not a psychoanalyst though. So I may be wrong.
Pls expand on this because I am genuinely interested in what you are talking about? 1378
The Flood / Re: A struggle with sex life, because I have none.« on: December 08, 2014, 03:48:01 AM »
The issue isn't with women in general (in most cases) but seems there's an issue with your confidence which might inherently make you incapable of forming new relationships.
