There are always groups of people that say the most outlandish, far fetched, out there things. And you would think they were just trolls on the internet until you see them take it to "debates". The sad part is, there's only a small handful of individuals on this site who are as WOKE as the people in this video, the rest of us are just fucking albino non-Melanin animals.

It's time to take the REAL red pill friends, and learn the truth about your Melanin brothers and sisters.

I couldn't really understand the main girl speaking about "Decolonizing the science" because of her accent; but from what I gathered, she seems to think that the science we teach today is wrong because it comes from a western perspective.

>Girl says part of science in the homelands involves believing you can harness lightning and strike another person with that
>Man says the objective fact that doing something like that is simply ludicrous
>Speakers get totally ass-blasted because someone denied voodoo magic existing
>Man has to apologize because saying shit like "You can't harness lightning to attack another person via magic" is offensive and triggering

Quote
Tuesday night, while Bush did not mention Trump, he rejected any style of leadership that involves "pushing other people down to make yourself feel better." True leadership involves "forging consensus and having a servant's heart," as well as exhibiting integrity and backbone, he said.

Bush called for immigration reform that supports economic goals, not just the reunification of extended families. He spoke up for a path to legal residency for so-called "dreamers," undocumented immigrants who arrived in American as children and who are pursuing educational and work opportunities.

Most Republicans make a distinction between undocumented immigrants who commit crimes, and those who are "working hard, trying to make ends meet," Bush said.

He responded to audience questions about voter suppression, the death penalty, criminal justice reform, and affirmative action, and repeatedly returned to the themes of optimism, prosperity, and compromise.

"We need to re-energize the compromise gene; the consensus muscle," he said. "Find common ground on the smallest thing and build on it."

Will Jeb rise again in 2020? I'd vote for him.

Serious / #MiloAtCali canceled - Violent Rioting
« on: February 02, 2017, 11:52:08 AM »
YouTube

There's several videos of people speaking to a crowd before the rioting took place. Despite the fact that I disagreed with them, it didn't really bother me that much since they weren't saying anything other than their beliefs which wasn't anything harmful. But after a while the above video happened and then it got out of hand.

I'm really disappointed in the University's response to cancel Milo's speech over this. It's giving the non-peaceful rioters a sense of accomplishment and giving them the idea that they can suppress dissenting views through intimidation, which is ironically what they were advocating against in the speeches before. I don't really agree with Milo other than that one video where he BTFO someone trying to attack his anonymous supporters with Ad Hominems but if his views are so harmful and wrong it should be especially vulnerable to criticism in a debate and easy to defeat.

This riot didn't accomplish anything towards Milo, it only strengthened his resolve and did property damage to their own campus.

498 to trigger Article 50 against 114.

This is to be expected but there was still straggler beliefs that the MPs would do something to either slow down the vote incredibly or to call another referendum altogether.

LAKE BUENA VISTA --
It’s happening, whether some people like it or not: Donald Trump is coming to the Hall of Presidents attraction at Walt Disney World.

Walt Disney World closed Hall of Presidents attraction for refurbishment
Petitions asked Disney not to add President Trump to the attraction
New petition asks disney to stop Trump animatronic from speaking
After Trump won the 2016 Presidential Election, many Disney fans speculated that his animatronic would be added to the Magic Kingdom attraction. Disney confirmed those suspicious when it announced shortly after, that the attraction would close in January for refurbishment.

Including the new Commander-in-Chief has become something of a tradition after every presidential election cycle. Former President Barack Obama was added in 2009, George W. Bush in 2001 and Bill Clinton in 1993.

However, some people are unhappy with the planned addition of Trump. Many of them have called on Disney to either close the attraction permanently or not add him at all. Some have even started change.org petitions in hopes of getting Disney to change its mind.

A New York man has started a petition asking Disney to “stop the inevitable Donald Trump animatronic figure from speaking.”

“Donald Trump ran a Presidential campaign on hateful speech misogyny, racism and xenophobia," wrote Matthew Rogers in the petition. “In doing so, he tainted the legacy of the American Presidency forever.”

Since 1993, the animatronic of the sitting U.S. president has delivered a speech. Bill Clinton became the first president to provide his voice. George W. Bush and Obama followed suit and recorded their voices for the show.

At the time of this writing, Rogers’ petition has reached 1,133 supporters.

Disney has yet to announce how Trump will be included in the attraction.

The Hall of Presidents is scheduled to reopen in late June.

Half the point of going there on vacation is to get away from the day to day nonsense of the real world. Shit like politics, news, and other problems facing the world are supposed to be left behind when visiting WDW. I can just see it now in June with people wanting to go into the attraction and unable to enjoy it because of inevitable disrespectful noises that will be made during the show. There's already childish groans whenever both the Bush's are called.

>That sounds wicked cool, does it go over just Christianity or other types of religious beliefs too?

>So far just Christianity. But I go to a Christian college so.

>Well that's probably to be expected, it's still really cool though. It's a really good and unconventional set of knowledge to have under the belt and it mixes well with any other classes that involve Humanities.

>Yes it seems to so far

I'm at a loss on what to do or where to go now on this.

I filed my taxes and I'm getting a little bit of money that I plan to use on both a PS4 and a new TV since the current one in the living room is Soyo piece of shit that doesn't deserve to exist. All I'm looking for is a 1080p 50 inch in the $500 range.

Right now I have on my Amazon Wishlist a 2016 TCL 55FS3750. It's $450 and has 1080p, Roku built in, 55", and has 3HDMI inputs. I wanted to know if you guys have any knowledge on what to do when it comes to buying TVs online.

http://news.nationalgeographic.com/2017/01/human-pig-hybrid-embryo-chimera-organs-health-science/

>Inject embryo of a pig with human cells
>It can survive and grow inside a host mother

Chimeras are officially a thing now:

Quote
There are two ways to make a chimera. The first is to introduce the organs of one animal into another—a risky proposition, because the host’s immune system may cause the organ to be rejected.

The other method is to begin at the embryonic level, introducing one animal’s cells into the embryo of another and letting them grow together into a hybrid.

It sounds weird, but it’s an ingenious way to eventually solve a number of vexing biological problems with lab-grown organs.

When scientists discovered stem cells, the master cells that can produce any kind of body tissue, they seemed to contain infinite scientific promise. But convincing those cells to grow into the right kinds of tissues and organs is difficult.

Cells must survive in Petri dishes. Scientists have to use scaffolds to make sure the organs grow into the right shapes. And often, patients must undergo painful and invasive procedures to harvest the tissues needed to kick off the process.

Serious / EU wants to shut down Libya route before summer
« on: January 25, 2017, 09:03:49 PM »
http://www.volkskrant.nl/buitenland/eu-wil-snelle-aanpak-migratieroute-vanuit-libie~a4452887/

The article is in Dutch but can be translated. Basic TL;DR or TL;DT goes:

Quote
>President of the European Council Tusk, President of the European Commission Juncker, and the Maltese Prime Minister Muscat, want to shut down the Libyan migration route within the next couple of months. If this does not happen soon, then Marine le Pen and Geert Wilders - supported by millions of dissatisfied civilians - will destroy the EU from within, Muscat warns.

>Because of the urgency of this problem, President of the European Council Tusk may even consider drastic measures that were off limits until recently, such as locking down the Libya coast. Tusk calls such a solution 'raising a defensive wall' in a confidential report to the EU states that he wrote together with Muscat. This afternoon, the European Commission will present a series of measures that underline the urgency: "before spring and summer roll around, decisive action will be required".

It's upsetting that they're going against the migration not because they think it's starting to cause problems, but because it will threaten re-election.

The Flood / Is Powerade okay for a cold?
« on: January 19, 2017, 09:20:04 PM »
I'm a picky bitch with what I eat and drink so I always need something flavorful to drink, as such my fridge is never really stocked up on anything other than milk and Powerade. Now I have a cold and I've been too tired all day to go to the store to buy OJ and some bottles of water. So I've been guzzling down whatever Powerade I do have since a tip that's often passed around is to just drink a lot.

I know it's no substitute for OJ or plain water but will it do anything for me?
