There's more than just visual looks to a game, and gameplay wise, the first Halal Wars was a pretty bad RTS in comparison to others. I really wished they stuck with what they showed when they unveiled Halo Wars at E3, what we got at E3 and what we got with the full game were two completely different stories. When you look at the original director of the game, and how he talked about the game, it's clear the man had a lot of concepts but no actual substance (Also he was kind of an asshole who tried to advertise his game in shit that didn't matter, like in the Halo Legends interview he advertised his game when all they did was ask him what he thought about Halo in general). HW2 isn't even out yet but if it tries to play itself as a successor to the first instead of doing what it SHOULD and be a legitimate Halo RTS, it's going to fail more than the first did. What's wrong with it? It looks nice

But they could just be pretending? if a user makes it clear that they're under the influence of drugs or alcohol, you ban them

I really don't want to go Off-Topic but: Only in college. In HS a D is below average and you'll still get the credit. I've gotten enough D's in my education before college to know that a D isn't failing. And at this point I realize in this moment that I'm half defending Obama here....I feel weird.... Yeah in school 60% is considered a failing grade lol makes you wonder.

Used resources better spent on bringing Halo: Online or Halo 3 to US PCs.

Both those things you mentioned plus there were a lot upset by OMA-Noob tubing and nuke boosting. There was a plethora of people ready to haze Robert Bowling beyond his shitty "Stealth Clown" joke, and like I said, BFfags vehemently doing everything they can in their power to shit on CoD despite their precious FPS title being just as much of a shitty milked series.

There were people really butthurt about the multiplayer being "unbalanced". I don't remember people saying MW2 was bad

I'm not voting for Trump, I'm writing in my vote this year unfortunately because I can't support either. However, I tend to have a bit more sympathy for Trump than I do Hillary, it's not that I hate her or anything, but because she's a career politician I can't seem to get a grasp on whether or not she's honest with what she's saying, I guess I just see too much of the lawyer side in her. Scott Adams also has a pretty interesting view on Trump that I believe is pretty sensible.

I don't doubt my cat would want something as heinous as that, but I'm pretty sure he's just up to his usual antics right now, like ripping up his cat bed and tipping over my trash can. However I will now lock my computer before leaving the house to make sure he doesn't get his nefarious paws into my computer and let the botnet run free all over it. I finally figured out what he wants from you from all that meowing. He wants to you to upgrade to Windows 10. Even the cat thinks you're wrong.

I haven't played anything beyond BLOPS2 but that's because BLOPS2 was a literal reskin. It really is brand loyalty, MW2 got a lot of bad rap for no reason and it stuck with IW into MW3 despite MW3 being legitimately good. Also I'm pretty sure half those dislikes is from rabid BF fanboys who have no ground to stand on to insult the CoD franchise, nor any military FPS. Advanced Warfare, Ghosts, and MW3 are laughing stocks, whereas BLOPS 2 and 3 are actually popular. That isn't because of magic and brand loyalty.

Eh....I wouldn't say an asshole but he definitely decides when he wants to be affectionate now and seems uncaring towards when I want to be affectionate to him. Did Mordred turn into an asshole? 'Cause our other cat is a bit of an anti-social bitch, and we're working REALLY hard on trying to prevent Grimm from becoming like her... So far he sleeps either on my pillow on top of my head, or curled up under my ear... I hope that's a good sign he will stay loving and playful.

You kind of have to be in order to not be smothered by smugness. There seems to be more people here on the left, but the people on the right are definitely more vocal on Sep7.

I don't use Mac and previous version of Windows did not have an aggressive advertising campaign as much as 10 did. Mostly because there was controversy on whether or not average build computers of those time frames could handle the new OS. I ran XP well until I got my laptop which came with 7 and never once received pushing for either Vista or 7.

I don't ever have to worry about W10 plaguing my computer because I'm running a unregistered version of 8.1, nor do I use Norton Anti-Virus. I personally don't ever have to worry about that hot garbage infecting my computer but that doesn't stop the fact that W10 is malware by every definition of Spyware and Adware. Software doesn't have to be "rogue" in order for it to be malicious. The idea that a company can not do anything malicious to its userbase is by far the most uneducated thing anyone could possibly have the audacity to say.

Because it's software coming from a "reputable" source (Microsoft is dead)? And just because it doesn't automatically upgrade on you doesn't mean it's still not forced. Aggressively advertising it and keeping that pop up on your task bar (I even have it on mine) is pushing it on people. Also, just because you can manually remove its spyware features doesn't mean it's not spyware. I can manually delete the files of a virus that has infested my computer, doesn't mean it's not a virus.

I want the "Treyarch is good" meme to die. They literally just reskin whatever the other company makes and they somehow get praise for being "innovative". WaW was just a reskinned MW, BLOPs was just a reskinned MW2, BLOPS2 was just a reskinned MW3, there is no denying this. -Treyarch has become the only CoD developer worth playing. When every other year, a non-BLOPS game comes out, it's shit.

Yes because the issues of users complaining about how it force upgrades them anyway is exaggerated? Even if you could remove these issues permanently, why should you have to do so in the first place? Microsoft is aggressively trying to push their OS on people with or without their consent, and on just that fact alone, it is malware. This is ignoring the other facts about it's malware properties like third party information gathering and sending, and advertisement pushing. Even outside this man's page it follows definitions of malicious software in both adware and spyware.
What visual evidence do you want? I don't have W10 on my computer and I'm running an unactivated version of 8.1 so it pesters me to use a CD key over everything else. Why do you need visual presentation when the universal definitions of adware/spyware are good enough?

« on: June 09, 2016, 04:18:08 PM »
And giving you the reasons isn't good enough because it isn't visual? From the link I gave above on how it's spyware: Downloads itself to your machine without you specifically asking for it? YES Aggressively attempts to install itself taking over your computer in the process? YES Sends unknown and/or encrypted data to known and unknown third parties? YES Sends personally identifying information to known and unknown third parties? YES Easy to remove? NO It follows all examples of TWO forms of malware and yet people continue to say it isn't malicious? I need visual evidence for this. Just saying it doesn't mean its proof.

Lol okay "Tell me how, but don't actually tell me." Mainly the last points he makes.Alright then since you wildly believe that Windows 10 is malware, provide proof then, and not in text either. Provide actual proof.

From Wikipedia's article on Malware:Malware, short for malicious software, is any software used to disrupt computer operations, gather sensitive information, gain access to private computer systems, or display unwanted advertising.[1] Malicious software was called computer virus before the term malware was coined in 1990 by Yisrael Radai.[2] The first category of malware propagation concerns parasitic software fragments that attach themselves to some existing executable content. The fragment may be machine code that infects some existing application, utility, or system program, or even the code used to boot a computer system.[3] Malware is defined by its malicious intent, acting against the requirements of the computer user, and does not include software that causes unintentional harm due to some deficiency.
Malware may be stealthy, intended to steal information or spy on computer users for an extended period without their knowledge, as for example Regin, or it may be designed to cause harm, often as sabotage (e.g., Stuxnet), or to extort payment (CryptoLocker). 'Malware' is an umbrella term used to refer to a variety of forms of hostile or intrusive software,[4] including computer viruses, worms, trojan horses, ransomware, spyware, adware, scareware, and other malicious programs. It can take the form of executable code, scripts, active content, and other software.[5] Malware is often disguised as, or embedded in, non-malicious files. As of 2011 the majority of active malware threats were worms or trojans rather than viruses.[6] From their article on Adware, a specific branch of malware: The term adware is frequently used to describe a form of malware (malicious software)[19][20] which presents unwanted advertisements to the user of a computer.[21][22] The advertisements produced by adware are sometimes in the form of a pop-up or sometimes in an "unclosable window". With these clear cut definitions, how is W10 NOT Malware? It presents unwanted advertisements to the user of a computer, in the form of a pop-up or an unclosable window, it sneaks into your non-W10 computer without your consent and tries install its program (W10) onto your system with either implied-consent or no consent at all. Computer technicians even refer to it as adware, it's objectively malicious software. This has nothing to do with the pros and cons of the OS itself (which I still believe is nothing more than hot garbage) but what Microsoft has done on W7 and 8 computers is clearly a form of malware. I normally don't like to agree with Das, but he's actually right this time.
That is by far the most retarded thing you have ever written. If Windows 10 is malware, this PC should have been fucked bone dry by now.
Clearly you've never actually had any REAL malware on your machine like I've had in the past. Real malware does damage, bad enough to the point where you may even need to clean install your entire OS if you're even lucky at that. The worst possible thing that can happen is if malware ends up accessing the BIOS and it flashes it. Then you are fucked. No clean install will ever save you from that happening.
