I second this. If MS won't fix it then any sort of warranty it had is void anyways. It's worth it to at least see if a UBreakIFix will look at it.

You could probably get it repaired by a 3rd party company.

Universal Studios just announced that they will be reopening their parks early June, which means the other two of the big three should be quick to follow in the near future. Speaking about one of them, Disney has still been posting on all their blogs certain status updates on those who are still working. The animal husbandry team has posted two new births in the Animal Kingdom park, both species are endangered so it's pretty amazing (and super cute) to see new life come out of all this.

Baby Babirusa piglet named Kirana.

Spoiler

And last month, a mountain zebra foal named Asha.

To be fair, deaths for literally everything else have dropped significantly regardless of time frame (although suicide is on the rise but no one wants to mentions that). Car crashes, cancer, stroke, the flu, deaths by any of those are pretty low compared to other years.

Its not the flu season?

The way I see it, that's all entirely dependent on how much you put into exercising. If you're spending let's say one hour a day for a year exercising and that gives you another ten years, I think most of us would say that's a pretty good deal considering all that exercising a year is 15 days total that you're trading for ten years. Of course I know fuck all about all that considering my exercise is just whatever is demanded of me physically at work and being out of work for two months I'm sure I've gained ten pounds just sitting on my ass playing Persona and shitposting.

basically, the way i see it, the years you're adding to your life by exercising are being spent... exercising. so from my perspective, it all just seems like a senseless waste of time, so i can't even feel relieved when it's over

there's little difference to me between a man who dies at 60, never having taken care of himself, and a man who dies at 80, because he spent 20 of those years taking care of himself—the former individual just went through less trouble and tedium in his life, frankly

Although I'm not too worried about it considering how early it happens into the show and I feel only drives my point home more.

Keep in mind my experience with the series is only with the first season of the anime and a few of the starting chapters in the manga.

The basic plot of the show is fine, it's even unique I'd say. Story is pretty solid, art style is different, characters are "meh" but I've seen worse in a generic shounen. Most of my problems are just a collection of minor gripes that culminate together. The author says "don't worry guys, this series wont last as long as other big names like Naruto and Bleach!" and then proceeds to release a chapter once every three centuries; just enough time for the series to stay relevant without falling into obscurity. His mystery box bullshit goes on for way too long, an entire season and we're left with more questions and zero answers to anything. The bones they throw us just leave us more confused.

And then there's the fucking fanbase. God almighty I haven't seen such a self-pleasuring group of fans from a series since Madoka Magica, and that's fucking saying something. Non stop threads and posts all over the internet about just how fucking good this show is, and did you even HEAR THAT FIRST OPENING?! I hate to bring up Eva, but Cruel Angel's Thesis didn't need to be forced down people's throat to be so popular that Korean marching bands play it, it became so while still being from a relatively niche series.

How so?

You're doing the exact fucking opposite.

Get a stable job and pay for your own expenses, including your living situation. Clean yourself up, don't do fucking drugs, maybe go back to school, anything other than what you've been doing for God knows how long. I know this is going to sound incredibly meme-like, but have you thought about maybe going into a religion? Maybe God (or whoever you pick) might be the one thing that finally pulls you out of this spiral of degeneracy and give you a sense of purpose since hedonism doesn't seem to be doing the trick.

I just want to make you guys proud

Just to make sure I'm understanding this (because I'm a brainlet), this is about whether or not criticism of any type of group you're in is valid? Or if you should self-reflect on the collectives you're a part of?

I believe the topic of this thread can be surmised without the need of the OP. With that being said, nothing is preventing anyone from whatever Discord server that is from clicking on the link Class posted to Sep7 and going into this very thread and seeing that Class is impersonating Verb.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Collectors Edition:

- $80 so only $20 more than regular full game price.
- I think this is actually a pretty good bargain considering other games charge $70-$80 for just a steelbook, and while I gladly pay top dollar for those (because I'm a sucker for steelbooks) it's nice to get more extras out of it.
- Everything comes in a pretty thick and high quality box.
- The game itself comes in a regular PS4 case and the steelbook is empty; I really like this decision as I know some people like to display their steelbooks elsewhere without the game.
- Standard PS4 case has a reversible slip so the front cover is just the iconic game logo. I wish more FF games did this as I feel the logo is one of the most important elements for a FF title.
- Mini-OST with a few hand-picked tracks from the game.
- Small artbook; this artbook is hit & miss. One one hand, I LOVE art books, however it's very small. But then again Square Enix isn't really known for consistent artbook designs (World of FF, X/X-2 CE, and XV all had varying book sizes).
- Came with a Fat Chocobo & Cactuar summon materia DLC.

Does your area do partial-unemployment? Doesn't qualify for that either?

One of my jobs is paying me a percentage of what I usually get so I don't qualify for that.

I would've liked to get into 40k/table-top gaming in general but a variety of reasons has prevented me.

1. I am an absolutely garbage painter.
2. Getting everything to start seems a bit expensive.
3. A majority of my friends are either busy/not interested/live in completely different states.

I'm sure there's Orlando groups dedicated to it, but I still have to do something about the other two points.

I work in Magic Kingdom so we're still closed. Whenever we do reopen I have no idea what it's going to be like, my operation in particular is heavily reliant on college program kids, we have very few full timers and even fewer part timers; certainly not enough to run an operational day without CP interns. Before we closed I asked how we would reopen without CPs since they would need OJT and the response from my leader was "Ian why you gotta ask such a difficult question?" meaning they had no clue and I doubt the answer has changed over the last two months.

Is your day to day going to change at all?

Disney Springs will be reopening in three days. Operating participants (third party companies) will be open first and three Disney owned locations will open later this month (World of Disney, Marketplace Co-Op, and Deluxe Burger). Parking will be limited to only two of the garages (no surface parking) and everything including the property as a whole will be at 50% capacity. Masks are required for both guests and employees and protective glass has been installed everywhere.

Parks and resorts here in FL are still closed, but Shanghai has reopened and is being considered a massive success (tickets for the park were capped at 30,000 and sold out within minutes). Same guidelines will apply in the parks/resorts here in FL we were told by the executives still working along with six foot social distancing spots while waiting in lines for rides and designated sitting/standing spots for shows/fireworks.

Governor DeSantis has said that technically both Universal & Disney can reopen now if they so choose provided they have a plan in place with the Orange County mayor, however the mayor has refused to let them reopen until at least June (and Disney isn't accepting reservations right now until July). I believe the parks are just waiting for DeSantis to announce when we're officially in Phase 2 before seriously getting the ball rolling on the parks reopening.

What's the situation looking like at Disney
I can't imagine they'd be back to normal operations for a year or so

The curve has been flattened in Florida, so we're [finally] beginning the process of reopening. Parks, theaters, and some other locations are still closed but restaurants and retail stores can operate at 50% capacity, barbers and salons are reopened, and gyms will reopen starting tomorrow. Contrary to what some people would want you to believe, the only cost for a haircut right now other than the typical $14 is a two hour wait without an appointment.

Here's hoping we get to Phase 2 soon.

As for me personally, Florida Unemployment managed to fix the colossal fuck-up from a few weeks back and I was able to get two weeks of unemployment. Ironically I'm making $108 more a week than I was while working, but I still want to hurry and get back to work because the cabin fever is killing me both mentally and physically, pretty sure I've gained ten pounds over the last two months doing little movement outside my room. I just started Persona 3 since P5R created an itch for more.
