What did you think of episodes 25 & 26 in comparison to EoE?

EoE is also full of even more crazy trivia than what was on that site you linked.

You’re not even a little curious about seeing the quality of it for yourself?

I'm dreading my family dragging me to see this one.

650 million at the box office.

Rogue One was also a side film but it still barely hit the billion ball. I expect the failure write off will impact its performance but not by a substantial amount.

Got written up at work back when I still worked Lost & Found for not answering calls. I was honest about it to, I didn't need to see the evidence they gathered' I told them straight up I hated that job and answering the calls made me miserable and I wanted out of there.

Despite that getting my act together for the month I remained there before I finally escaped, I wouldn't have done anything differently if I could go back in time.

It's more because it's the only TV I can stream online at any given time. Also I do enjoy Anthony Bourdain's show on Saturdays.

no but really, CNN is up there with Fox News with its sensationalist bullshit, even if one is more more a propaganda network

I don't see why they didn't commit to that considering Robert doesn't want to play the part anymore. That would've been a rare case of committee storytelling fitting perfectly with the narrative. But IIRC, he gave Disney the permission to use his CGI likeness till they get tired of it. I'll try and find a source but if it's true it'll give some insight into the timeline of superhero movies beyond what's already planned.

If it's not human error, can we really call them accidents? I don't think anything major is happening, otherwise big news sources would've picked up the fact; I have CNN playing 24/7 and I never knew about the increase until your thread.

Who or what is to blame for these? Are they all caused by human error, budget cuts, or something else?

Honestly my only gripe with the BR is that it uses the disgusting Halo 4 design and sound.

The battle rifle's TTK is outragous though. I can't tell if the rate of fire is higher or the lack of spread and better hit registration makes it so everyone is basically host and 4 shots you across Standoff

I personally find Fortnite better but then again I was playing with my brother and friends from NY. All of us are poor so we were never interested in spending extra money so we always focused more on just goofing off and having fun.

Also fuck Tilted Towers. Tomato Town is best town.

@Mordo: I literally called the movie kino and applauded the writers for going above what I was expecting several pages earlier. My only regret with my “””hate””” post now is not making it longer.

>If Thanos is killing half the universe at random, is he included? Wouldn't that also kill more than half other races around the universe possibly or make an entire race go extinct? Trillions is a big number.
>If Thanos by himself is so powerful he can beat Hulk, why did he waste ten years sending goons out to collect the stones?
>Why didn't he just spend one of those ten years fighting in the Holy Grail War? Using the Grail to kill everybody almost worked for Karl.

So when I first built this computer two years ago, I got an 850W EVGA PSU. It worked great until April of last year and it started making this God forsaken chirping noise, I bought a replacement EVGA PSU two months later and it worked fine...until now. The chirping noise is back, granted it's not as strong as the first EVGA PSU but it's still noticeable and very much annoying.

The PSU is fully modular, if I buy a Corsair PSU can I just swap the blocks out without messing with the cables? I'm not buying another EVGA PSU after this.

FUCKING 10/10! ABSOLUTE FUCKING KINO!

Spoiler
I can't stop laughing hysterically, where were you when the Russo brothers SAVED ten years of capeshit?!?! Everyone in the audience of my theater who complained/didn't like the ending are a bunch of fucking cinema troglodytes. Jesus Christ THIS is what Star Wars needed and Marvel of all studios are the ones that delivered.

I take back everything negative I said about Infinity War before I saw the film. That was an absolute masterpiece and it's still blowing my mind. Anyone who didn't like the movie, or even more so, the ending, can get the fuck out cause that was truly the greatest thing to come out of Disney's cliched ass in recent years.

Spoiler
Just fucking kill everybody and end the movie with the bad guy winning. Loki? Lol he's dead. Vision, say goodbye to that schmuck. Spiderman? That's what you get for not being Tugboat Maguire. Dr. Strange? Haha fuck you.

EVERYONE'S DEAD LOL

I liked BvS, I have yet to see Suicide Squad and Justice League was okay. At least Warner Bros. is taking risks which is more than what you can say about Marvel.

And TLJ was absolute garbage.

ian likes the DCEU btw

At the end of the day, Disney/Marvel isn’t killing filmmaking.

Yes. They. Fucking. Are.

I don't want to hear about demand-driven nonsense. Films that make you think have always been less popular but they also will stand up to any movie made afterwards. People will always remember 2001: A Space Odyssey, Alien, Gone With The Wind, etc. but literally no one is going to give a flying shit about Infinity War after the fact. Disney/Marvel is built on cheap comedy, generic one-dimensional characters, a heavy coating of CGI, and an incredibly basic storytelling; all to appeal to as much people as possible to make as much money as possible.

That is not an indicator of quality.

Disney is not interested in making quality content, at least not anymore. Yes, taking risks means taking a hit. Look at The Last Jedi. That movie was an absolute dumpster fire. But now I'm in the incredibly painful position of having to defend TLJ because at least they took risks with that movie, even if it didn't pan out. You can't win every time and that goes with film making. Part of taking risks means accepting a possible loss, but when you take a risk and it turns out positive, the reward is far worth playing it safe. Hell, making a huge growing cinematic universe with Marvel was a risk in and of itself, it's never been done before in film history (and if it was done before, definitely not on this scale).

But now they can just churn out shit five times a year expecting bigger and bigger box office numbers, and other companies/studios follow suit. Why bother doing anything different when you can just copy Disney and rake in the dough? And yes, half of us have seen those other films you listed, and they're good. But of course no one is going to discuss them. Because the majority of movie-goers are brainless dipshits who just want to see explosions and titties and monsters and robots in a giant two hour orgy on nonsense.

I was going to write a long-winded post about how this thought process is terrible and is the cancer killing Film as an art form but I figured it just wasn't worth it.

Doesn't matter if Infinity War is enjoyable, it's still ruining cinema.

You guys expect too much. The whole point of a blockbuster is you switch your brain off and enjoy the spectacle. If you want thought provoking movies you go to the indie shows.

The movie is fucking two hours and forty minutes. An hour of that is going to just be set up for all the characters meeting. And the other hour and a half is going to be split more between jokes everywhere and slow-mo circular shots of all the cast. The action scenes probably wont even be memorable.

I have Friday off so I'll probably go see it then but my expectations are pretty low.
