The Flood / Re: what a disgusting fucked up society
« on: November 10, 2016, 05:47:16 PM »
1) Goes to show how shocking it is that calling people racists doesn't make them take the initiative to change.

2) I never really understood what people saw in Trump.  I've heard a bunch of people compare him to a modern-day Teddy Roosevelt, but I just don't see it.  I can understand the idea behind backing an underdog up against big government, but it seems like so much of his policy lies on what people speculate and interpret, rather than what he's ever explicitly said himself.  I just don't see how any of that is assuring.

3) If you voted for trump for a reason as petty as "Telling it like it is", hating SJWs, being anti-media. etc...then in terms of intelligence: among all the liberal crybabies, you're an amoeba.

Yeah, there's a sep7 steam group, but it doesn't get much love.

Ummm let's see:

16GB RAM
2TB HDD
Dedicated OS SSD

Steam ID: Mr Coco

Not that they should get to dodge the blame like that, but they do deserve a bit of credit there.  A major publisher breathing down their neck and applying pressure isn't a surprise, and no game goes without cutting scope.  On the other side, they delayed the game by like 2 weeks and received death threats from the community.  I wonder if the game would've been the same if they got another year.

But (for the millionth time) the problem was that they pretended like none of that happened and have had the shittiest PR ever since launch.

My god, this Battlefield's community is like 10x more cancerous than BF4's.  From my experience, like 90% of players are that guy from Overwatch: the one who either does nothing but sit back and aggressively blame their team when they're losing, or spams "LAWL FUCKIN EZ" at the end of every win.

The chatbox is almost nothing but "heal me, nigger", "fucking jew snipers" or the dude who waits for the tank for 100% of his playtime is telling everyone else they suck.

I miss when most people would just have casual conversations in the chatbox, or actually use it to communicate instead of be Captain Hindsight.

That said, I wasn't having so much fun on the beta, but am now.  Some things still irk me, but I've gotten used to a lot of the changes.

Volumetric lighting is cool and not easy to pull off.  But they made a lot of things worse because they abused bloom.

I totally forgot about the last time I saw a militia guarding the Target bathrooms, waiting for any damn sick perverts trying to get in.  Their response time?  Top.  Notch.

And nothing that I said refutes the idea that a physiological difference exists.  Just that it's an unimportant difference when it comes to trivial things that leave people no more or less vulnerable.

How is this any different than if my roommate turned out to be gay?  Should a barrier be placed on him?  After all, he could be a gay rapist.  He could try to use the men's bathroom to rape smaller men.

And we've seen how good forced-therapy goes for depressed kids with identity issues.

Most public gender barriers are unnecessary.
An easily accessible front door isn't the thing that stops the person willing to break in and publicly rape someone.

Spoiler
Sorry for the blurry as fuck picture, but that's how big the NH-D15 is in comparison to the rest of my computer.

The Noctua fits my friend's mid case (CM Storm Enforcer, I believe).  But maybe you're right: take note of that, Flee, it's pretty huge.

Overall solid build.

-I'd back the WD > Seagate.
-EVGA > Gigabyte
-CPU cooler looks a bit dinky.  Consider the Noctua NH-D15.  It's big, effective, silent, and the only drawback is that you need low-profile RAM for it.  I'd say it's the most powerful alternative to liquid cooling.
-If you plan to put only your OS on the SSD, and a key program or two, then consider downgrading to 120GB

The Flood / Re: Why is stoner culture so cancerous?
« on: October 20, 2016, 06:27:41 PM »
The only stoners I hate are the ones that beg for attention constantly. The kind that go on Facebook and need to constantly inform everyone that they smoke by spamming 420 memes. The kind that have loud discussions about it, knowing that everyone can hear, thinking they care.  The kind that brag about the hit they took to the 12 year olds on their team on Xbox.

The kind that think it's a part of their identity and that they're impressing other people, when if you were indulging in literally anything else, and acting the same way, you'd look like a tard.

But that has to do with being an attention-craving douchebag more than it does with smoking.  The rest of the culture is no big deal, because they're just quietly sitting in their house keeping to themselves and eating Cheetos.

I'm actually really surprised and a bit impressed. A third party friendly console that isn't super gimmicky. The only gimmicks are neat conveniences that don't detract from the console as a whole.

Yeah that looks dumb, especially if that mode gets special treatment over the regular modes.  Could've sworn this was a strategy game.

Like how can they act excited about: "you're playing super smart and well and then all of a sudden WHOOSH the other guy cockslaps you with the $5 he shelled out before the match started" and think everyone watching would be on board?

-Some dude beat his cat to death with a crowbar because it pissed him off.
-Someone threw a guy out a window.
-This really stumpy kid had one of those roller-backpacks, so some jocks stuffed him in it and threw it down a flight of stairs.
-8th grade girls soccer team collectively pissed on the opponent town's field before they all played.
-In 2nd grade, this kid threw a fit at a teacher, jumped on his desk, dropped trow, danced and then took a shit.
-Girl cracked and went primal, started attacking people, and then ran off into the woods, where she fell off some tall rocks, had to be air-lifted.  She lived, but we never saw her again.
-14 year old freshman piggy girl raped a junior, got pregnant, had a miscarriage.
-This one legend stuck bologna slices in all the library computer CD drives.

Craziest moment ever:

Playing KoTH as Tracer.  Beginning of round 1, I rush down one of the sides.  At the middle of the map, I run into another tracer, with the same exact skin, who decided to take the same exact path, who's Battletag is also Coco, who was exactly half my level.  I think I just ran into past-me.
