Miranda Keyes just had some of the most memorable and badass quotes.
"...to war" really pumped me up.

First, run a Windows program called Disk Cleanup.  That normally deletes a lot of useless temporary files.  Then defrag the drive, and see if that saves any space.

I think it's a nice modernization, but I think the scopes themselves are a bit unnecessarily cluttered with holograms and stuff.
I saw a glimpse of the sniper zoom-in, though, and that animation looked disorienting as fuck.
There isn't even an animation. You're just in the scope in section. If you want to be technical, there's about 3 frames where the scope-in centers into the screen.
That's still an animation.  And I had the stream running in the background, but it looked like the sniper zoom-in actually sways that massive scope over your screen until the scope is positioned correctly.  Just looks like it could be awkward for quickscoping.

Only reason I'm not upset about clamber is because skill jumping has been a dead art since Reach.

I have got to say, watching the pro team play is seriously entertaining. Some of the skill jumps they pulled and map dom spots blew my mind. I want to see a full on competitive match between two experienced teams at this game.
That's how Halo 4 got me.

For the outcome of MCC, 343 is giving us:

-An exclusive emblem and nameplate
-Avatar stuff
-A remake of Relic for H2A
-A remastering of ODST

Make sure your NATs are compatible.

After playing hundreds of matches, the only real gripe I have is that a large majority of people who play this game are complete fucking retards who somehow lack a basic understanding of the fundamentals of the game or video games in general.
Same here, hence why I'm trying to get a party of people together.  Basic communication makes the game infinitely easier.

Halo 3 more for its forge and custom games
Halo 2 for its competitive multiplayer

I could probably whip something like that up, using Unity or Unreal (provided we're not talking about entering and exiting the ships and playing Halo on foot as well).  I have Longsword models, and third person ship-shooters aren't that hard to make.  I'd probably end up using the most time in making a polished system for matching people together.  Only real problem would be making art that looks nice, and special effects.

I was more talking about the search times, but yeah, there are plenty of other annoying bugs that have been squashed, too.

My NAT keeps bouncing between open and moderate (even with my ports forwarded), and I can still manage to find games in a decent amount of time (2-5 minutes), and have found games with another 1-2 people in my party, as of a few days ago.  I don't think they've got it near perfect, but I assume it's alright for a lot of people, because the complaint threads have dropped drastically.

The intro, where all the writers were talking about how it blew their minds were saying the most generic shit.  It's like they don't really know why it's GOTY, since they all compliment something really basic, or just say "there's something about Destiny..."

>Remove Custom Loadouts: fixes a good 90% of problems with the game
>Remove ordnance, or at least make it consistent (maybe warn other players that some guy just pulled rockets out his ass from around the corner or something, or do what throwdown did, and have it just give less powerful equipment)
>Lessen aim assist/bullet magnetism

MCC addresses 2 of those, so at least I can tolerate it now.

The OP already fixed the custom load out issue
I wouldn't consider nerfing a few guns or removing them as options "fixed".  And I wouldn't see what the point of keeping custom loadouts would be if you took out custom armor abilities, and made a lot of the weapons less niche.

It'd be better to promote even starts, than letting the gameplay be so inconsistent and plagued with things like plasma pistol + sticky grenade spawns, perks, and other detriments.

Nah, Tumblr pisses me off.  The community is largely this group of hypocrite, over-the-top, special-snowflake slacktivists and/or attention seeking preteen girls.

It's got nothing interesting to it: nothing thought provoking ever gets popular, unless it's left-wing politics that are blown out of proportion, social injustices, or pseudo-science that MUST include pretty pictures or be about drug chemistry.

Pretty much my ex back from high school's blog sums up the site for me: random over-dramatic special snowflake drama, some random porn, "oh my god, save the penguins or you have no heart", and constant posting about Fall Out Boy or some other emo shit.

KoTOR II is a 2004 game, I can almost max it out on my twelve year old computer.

I can't run minecraft.
Minecraft was coded very amateurish, in a way so that it's an incredibly huge resource hog.  I wouldn't use it as a reference point.

Still enjoyed it with mods.
See, this is just one of those silly things that people say that I don't understand.

Like, yeah, of course you enjoyed it with mods.

Are there any games that get shittier with mods?...

Oh man, there are plenty of bad mods.
