I thought it was mandatory that all furries show it off in their avatars.

Sometimes if I know nothing about what I'm going into.  But I try not to overall, because it'll just sour something I wouldn't have focused on otherwise.

Half of the performance issue ones are written by AMD bottom-feeders, and don't apply.

Graduated college with something like a 3.849.  And that's after taking a huge hit over one shitshow class (the prof got fired halfway into the semester over his shit) at the end of Senior year.

Pretty awesome game. Underrated, which it doesn't deserve to be.

The matchmaking is balls though.  At level 1 with a nonexistent mmr, the game is understandably easy when I'm alone. But when I'm with just 1 other person, it hikes everything up to full parties of Gen 4s that are clearly going to win.

If you liked Halo 4, your opinion doesn't matter.

Halo 5 at least has some redeemable qualities, whereas Halo 4 is a consistent stream of dogshit in every aspect.

Hell yeah.  The game is awesome, and I think it deserves so much more attention than it got.  I actually really enjoy the multiplayer: any modern game that goes back to classic arenas and skill-based shooting gets a win in my books.  I could see why aim-assist-less gameplay would be frustrating on consoles, though.

Do it. You can get it cheap on CDkeys

A lot of shooters, namely Halo, Battlefield, and DOOM.

I usually climb to the top of the leaderboard and I don't have to change much about myself during a match.  This only changes when the game/mode (ranked or games like Overwatch and Rainbow Six) emphasizes closer communication.

Should have done this last week, bro. Tomorow is like, the deadline for most places to try and get your order to you by Friday.

So what's his taste?

Yeah, a lot of stuff got in the way.  It's not ideal, but fine if it doesn't get to him by Christmas (his gifts are always "it's not here yet, buuuut").

I'm not really sure on his style.  He has a few flip-knives with carbon-fiber handles, and that's about the extent of what I can tell you.  Spyderco is the only company I can name.

My dad collects knives, and I wanted to get him one for Christmas.  Need to find something online, but have no clue what's considered a good "gift knife".
Looking to spend around $100.

Pls halp.

L0L man, the game's invested on well-animated characters that display emotions.  Those other 11 hours of stealth-action-survival gameplay through extremely vibrant and diverse scenes?  ROFL NO, it's a fucking movie now.

And you had to move a ladder 5 feet over twice in those 11 hours, so when it's not just a movie, it's Ladder Simulator 2013.

The Flood / Re: Hate vs Apathy

Do you really think the alternative is to take all perspectives into account and then voice a single one?
My point is that you can't.

Quote
How about don't voice your teachings?
Debate on a public forum?  What?

Quote
How about you stop making a fool out of yourself by thinking your path and teachings align with mine?
You seem to have my intent mistaken, because you're treating every single one of my posts as a personal attack/judgement on you, where I specifically chose to use wording like "people" and "they" as well as deny that I have any authority on when your thought is right/wrong.  I don't see how offering my perspective in a public space immediately assumes that I'm aligned with you, that I know you, and that I know you're wrong.  Your OP was on an extremely vague scale, but you're treating my responses like they're to some extremely specific choice you've made and that I'm judging you.

You're telling me that I'm throwing a tantrum, but I've been level-headed the whole time; just trying to contribute to the conversation.  Meanwhile you're taking such huge personal offense to my completely impersonal comments, and resorting to petty personal attacks along with trying to get me to keep my mouth shut because my comments aren't in total agreement with yours.

Quote
When someone is about to wager everything on a feat that has the probability of working out 1/99, you don't get to tell them that's a stupid bet. I understand that you've lived your entire life this way
It's a good thing that I don't, and nothing that I've said says that I do.  This is so devoid of actual value: you're calling me out on making assumptions, and here you are telling me exactly how I've lived my entire life.

Quote
but you only give advice to those who aren't capable

You need to stop being so defensive.  Offering perspective on a public forum is not the same as lecturing the inferior.  Should the whole forum be pissed because you decided to give advice on hate being a motivator?

Quote
think of how you're treating me when you tell me that the way I act is wrong. You're saying I can't handle being rational because I'm stubborn, and arrogant, but that's not true at all. You're also saying my judgements and actions are wrong.

No, I didn't.  You're being defensive.  You called me out before on using words of uncertainty, but you're reacting as if what I said assumed absoluteness and is targeted at you.  I said you're (as in "people in general") might be wrong and are prone to being those things.  Hate is not always a good thing, and it's not always a good motivator.  It's something to be aware of, not live by.

Stop talking nonsense. I'm highlighting the fact that you aren't omniscient, and thus you're running on assumptions.

So I'm assuming by pointing out how personal and biased that thought is.  So what's the alternative?  To accept that that kind of thought is impersonal and objective, taking all perspectives into account?  One's a bit more presumptuous than the other.

The Flood / Re: Hate vs Apathy
« on: December 13, 2016, 05:15:02 PM »
Again, you use uncertain words like "prone". Why don't you leave me alone with your wisdoms and presumptions about the world?

I would hardly consider the sentiment that "no one is perfect and omniscient" as a personal or a presumptuous one.

If someone actually thinks otherwise, and approaches all of their thoughts and actions with zero doubt, then they're exactly what I described before: sheltered, close-minded, defensive, delusional, and arrogant.

The Flood / Re: Hate vs Apathy
« on: December 12, 2016, 05:59:19 PM »
that thought is often not spent on where you might be wrong.
How childish. You don't get to be the arbiter of my choices and thoughts.

How defensive.  My point is that it leaves people prone to being self-destructive, not that I personally have the authority to judge your reactions and tell you when that happens.

The Flood / Re: Hate vs Apathy
« on: December 12, 2016, 01:54:17 PM »
Sure, you're more focused with hate, but that thought is often not spent on where you might be wrong. It's usually spent defensively justifying your own judgements and actions while condemning others.  It makes you stubborn, sheltered, and arrogant.

It might not always be the case, but while a hateful person might be a bit more thoughtful, they'll likely have reinforced a good amount of their own delusions.
