Got it on PC and PS4.  Not a bad time.
The weeb-orochi or whatever sounds really cool once I get past being a total scrublord with reaction time.

The new 2017 helmets are up for preview on Halowaypoint. Go check 'em out!

EOD looks sweet

Thanks for the link

There's no page, you just have to go to "Customize Spartan" on your service record and see the new helmet options.

Why would you even pay for someone else's abortion though?

Yeah, that's not the same as cutting funding from any general NGO on the grounds that it offers or promotes abortion services.

And I'm not.  The Hyde Amendment restricts Planned Parenthood from using federal funding on abortions except in cases of rape.  The funding only comes from Medicaid reimbursements on preventative care and STI checks.

What law did Trump push out that limits the rights of women?

Mexico City Policy.

I think enough time has passed.  Nothing comes to mind in terms of crossing boundaries that haven't been crossed by plenty of other people.

Gaming / Re: What's the best Halo game?
« on: January 20, 2017, 05:43:13 PM »
Halo 3 by multiplayer design.  It just needed better netcode.
Halo 2 for competitive multiplayer.
Halo 5 for Forge and community content.

Serious / Re: House & Senate Begin Process to Repeal ACA
« on: January 17, 2017, 07:48:54 PM »
I like how the average Trump supporter is now defending him for trying to use US taxes on the wall that doesn't actually tackle illegal immigration whatsoever.  So now it's hardly a matter of saving their tax dollars, it's a matter of choosing if it's better allocated towards concrete or human lives.

Also, this is nice:

Quote
"I posted about my son's cerebral palsy and how the ACA enables him to get more physical/occupational therapy (Not a monetary issue, an insurance red-tape issue) and had 5 different redditors say "your retard should just die" and that kind of thing."

 this trump supporter responds:
"Oh fuck off. Take care of your fucking self, no one has any obligation to pay for your problems.

It's no ones fault but your own that you had a retarded child when you or your wife should have gotten it aborted. You knew what you were getting in to."

Y'know, they should have aborted their kid when they found out it had that developmental disorder diagnosed most likely months after birth.

LMAO a list of nitpicky bullshit

Not to mention it's mostly bloated by statistics that are swept under the rug.

>Women have less work-related injuries, but let's ignore gender ratios in manual labor
>Women make 78c on the dollar is a BS study because it doesn't factor in different positions and hours worked

Pick one and stick to it.

Most superhero movies are the worst to support right now.  They're basically just 2 hours of exposition for the next movie with a lackluster plot to fill in what's left.  It's pretty much a perpetual ad.

I mean, the gimmicks of this console are good: they're neat and practical, but not intrusive.  You can ignore them and devs don't need to build around them.  I think motion controls and stupid controllers worked once really well, but held the company back long-term.

The console seems nice and has a lot of potential.  It'd be amazing to see Nintendo go back to the Gamecube golden-era, but that's provided they invest in their devs.

As far as paid online goes, no thanks and if it's of the same quality, then lol what a scam.

I recently modded Skyrim so that I could remove the quest markers and compass.  Makes the game feel kinda old-school, where you need to keep your own map and take notes for what people are saying.

Gaming / Re: Can you think of a worse online experiece
« on: January 08, 2017, 11:25:28 AM »
Gears of War and Gears 2 had the worst netcode ever.  The host advantage was so ridiculous that it basically decided the outcome of any game, giving one player essentially double the range and damage on any weapon.

Halo Reach had a pretty cancerous community.  Almost every game had at least one person who betrays for sniper, randomly starts attacking teammates, AFKs, etc...  (Despite finding it entertaining) Every other game someone would send me pissy messages and we'd fight over something retarded.

I imagine it would not be a good idea to stream VR games, and probably won't be for a long time.  VR headsets put heavy constraints on engines, essentially giving them an extremely tiny window of opportunity to actually render (something like under 10ms/frame on a game that must stay locked at 90FPS with particular FOV settings, etc...).  That's all fine and manageable, and is necessary to keep the effect going and (more importantly) to keep players from feeling nauseous.

Reducing input lag so that your extremely precise head motions can be reliably sent uncompressed, ordered, and at the same extremely fast rate back and forth to NVidia would be a lot more difficult, though.  Just something to think about: by the time this becomes a reality, we would have had to greatly improve the way data is sent so the average person doesn't puke 3 seconds into streaming to a headset.

Did you know Doomguy is doing all of that because demons killed his pet bunny?
Still dumb now?
