i hope faith's character model was voiced, motion captured, and modeled after anita sarkeesian
no, every single character
even the men
Anita's got the men. Zoey Quinn's got the women, and the occasional wolf trapped in a man's body trapped in a woman's body trapped in a cucumber.

I was more talking of DMR and BR. The SMG was fine IMO and I can't remember using the AR. I'm glad the weapons are getting tweaked after feedback, though. That's good news.
And my complaints about the AI callouts are more to do with unaware players getting an awareness boost, as well as the system being potentially exploitable, since it's essentially pinging all the enemy players and letting you know where certain ones are.
Sure, sprinting has consequences and the no-health-recharge-while-sprinting thing is good, but IIRC it's still unlimited sprint. If bullets slowed down sprint speed and there was a limit on duration, I'd be fine with it being in.
And yeah, it does feel fast because of movement and abilities, but IMO sprint + thruster pack is more than enough. Clambering is overkill and it is way too forgiving on the distance you can grab.
The SMG was crazy powerful. They nerfed it mid-beta, and it was still a beast. I'm sure it'll get nerfed harder. I'd acknowledge the SMG and AR if they just nuked their aim assists and bullet magnetisms. They did it significantly, when you compare it to H4, but I think they can go further. To be fair, Halo 5's aim assist and bullet magnetism is the smallest it's been in years, and the movement acceleration has been improved greatly for faster, more responsive movement/strafing. I'm okay with the weapons being faster if they're harder to use. I'd say the pacing of Halo hasn't been as good as the H5 beta's since Halo 3, personally. It had so much more emphasis on communication and map control (rather than exploiting randomness and creating clusterfucks), which played such a big part into how drawn out, and thought out, the fights were. The fights weren't drawn out so crudely (armor lock, camo sniping, etc...), either. I found the callouts useless when compared to the information given by a team with mics. I thought it pointed out the obvious anyways. Maybe it'd be worse in a BTB setting, where hiding is a bit more common.

15 free DLC maps that won't split playlists into disgustingly low numbers? That's fucking awesome.

That kind of footage is better suited for commentary. It's not necessarily bad footage, but it isn't fast-paced or eventful enough to be fit for a montage.

I would say that Starcraft 1 and Warcraft 3 made way more contributions to gaming than SC2, especially the custom games made by the community and how they impacted other genres.
Yeah, I'm not too knowledgable on the franchise's/genre's history, I just know that SCII is a massively successful e-sport. I'm digging around and seeing that SC:Brood War is considered one of the most influential ones. daily reminder that all FPS games are just shitty quake rehashes
Regardless of opinions on what the games are, they've made significant dents in the market and culture.

I'd say that:
Halo 2 Mario Kart Legend of Zelda *cringes* Call of Duty 4 Pokemon League of Legends Counter Strike Starcraft II
...have all made some notable contributions to gaming.

I got it on PC cheap for playing the beta. I'm level 16 or 17, but I've been having a decently good time so far. It's not very fun without friends, though, so make sure you have those, or a guild to join.
It's pretty much Skyrim with a different combat system (one with depth), tons of people, and more stuff scattered around.

Don't act like you don't ask for it; this thread makes that perfectly clear. Jokes die out, but you keep reviving them.
You need to be more confident with yourself, stop taking the internet so seriously, have some humility, and own up to your meltdowns.
Enjoy your break.

Weird that the entire thread would get nuked because one kid's spam. Or was it because the mods got as defensive as the Desticles did?

I know he used Halo 3 to bitch about bleedthrough, but the original Halo 2 had bleedthrough, too. The kid's obnoxious, though.

It's killing some creativity in the industry, but it's only going down when people start speaking with their wallets and the fad dies off.

Probably won't buy it, since I own all of them, but they're amazing games. I recommend it if you've never played them.
